Earthen Textures card with video tutorial

I made this card for last week's Live video.  I LOVE the colors and textures!  

Earthen Textures 1 Save

It features the Earthen Textures stamp set & dies bundle.  Unfortunately the dies are in low inventory so they may be unavailable soon.   But they'll be back I'm sure.  You can see them here.  

My colors include Pretty Peacock and Pecan Pie.  The designer paper for the background is the Earthen Elegance seen here.  I also used the Distressed Gold paper on the large pleated fan/leaf.  The die creates folds so you can add a lot of texture and dimension on your projects.

I stamped both die-cut vases in Pretty Peacock ink onto Vanilla card stock.  I then sponged Pecan Pie ink onto them.  I wrapped the tall vase 3 times with the Natural Wavy trim. I've been loving using this unique trim; it was unavailable for over a month but it's back now.

  • Darling Donkey’s Birthday card

    The Darling Donkey's stamp set (seen here) is one of the most popular sets in our Sale-a-Bration promotion right now.  So I chose to use it for my card clubs in January.  We made this cute but easy card:

    Measurements:

    • Pool Party card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • So Saffron 2" X 4 1/4"
    • Flower & Field DSP 3" X 5 1/2"
    • White die-cut 2 1/2" X 4" 

    I used the Balloon Bouquet punch with this DSP for a quick accent.  I glued the Black & White twine down with liquid Multipurpose Glue.  The donkey is colored in with Blends markers.

  • Striking cards with Pretty Perennials with True Love DSP

    If the True Love designer paper hasn't caught your eye yet look at these cards:

    I paired it with the Pretty Perennials stamp and dies bundle for a recent FB Live.  I used Bermuda Bay, Real Red and black. Simple Stamping at it's best!  No die-cuts or punches either!  Sometimes it's fun to just stamp and layer.

    Lastly here's the stepped-up card I made using heat embossing and the Perennial Petal dies.  See the Pretty Perennial bundle here.

    I also used our new Blending Brushes to add color to the white flowers.  Love these so much!

    Sometimes you can let the designer paper do all of the work.  Look at this classy, beautiful card I made with the True Love Designer Paper!

    I used Daffodil Delight Blends marker to color in the flowers; coloring mainly on the printed lines on the flowers. Granny Apple Green for the leaves. Simple & quick!
