Earthen Elegance kit to go or get the PDF tutorial option

I couldn't decide which designer paper to feature for this month's card kit to go. So I did a poll on my Facebook page.  Earthen Elegance won!

Here are the cards I created:

Three of the five designs are fun fold cards.  It seems like many people like to create these; something you don't get from a store-bought card.  

I used the Earthen Textures stamp set for my greetings and some Earthen Textures dies too.  You can use any greetings you'd like though. If you'd like to add on the Earthen Textures stamp set or bundle, message me here and I will add it on at a 10% savings. 

Pretty Peacock was a featured color in three of the five cards; It pairs beautifully with brown tones and vanilla here.  

The kit includes $20 in product including 1/2 pkg of the Earthen Textures DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Natural Wavy trim, Neutrals adhesive-backed sequins and 10 vanilla envelopes.  For all that and the pre-cut kit, it's just $28 plus shipping!

Details on the pre-cut card kit: 

• The pre-cut kit and products are mailed out by the end of the month, barring any back-orders. 
• The kit includes all punched and die-cut pieces; everything is cut except your new designer paper. 
• You will need your own ink, greetings and adhesives.  Plus a paper trimmer to cut your DSP. 
• The PDF tutorial is sent to you immediately via email.

• Springtime Scenes card with video & free project sheet

  I shared this card last week with a video and a free project sheet. Think of using any designer paper you own. It’s a great layout!

  I chose the Easter Joy Specialty paper inspired me with the color theme. Shy Shamrock with Balmy Blue & White. Unusual but it sure works!

  It’s a simple ‘fold back’ fun fold where you add one extra score line at 2 3/4″ to this 11″ X 4 1/4″ card base. Of course it’s scored in half at 5 1/2″ as well. I cut the Balmy Blue layer to perfectly layer onto the inside White. It gives the illusion of multiple layers.

  That pretty die-cut leaf is from the Pleasant Patterns specialty paper seen here. For my stamps & the leaf die I used the Springtime Scenes bundle seen here. I love this set with the neat dies and stamps.

• Get inspired by a sketch with this sweet Splash of Sparkles card

  Each month I give my Flowerbug’s a creative challenge and they can participate if they’d like. This month it was a sketch:

  You can find card sketches like this all over Pinterest or other online sites. I think they’re a wonderful and easy way to create a card. Remember that sketches are a starting point; they don’t have to be exact or even that similar. They’re a great way to be inspired.

  I chose the Splash of Sparkles specialty designer paper for mine. See it here.

  My colors include Bubble Bath, Timid Tiger, Gold & White; all inspired by the beautiful designer paper. Who would have thought to combine these colors together? But the DSP is the magic that makes it work.

  I used a few different products here:

  • The greeting and die-cut are from the Lovely Arrangements bundle.
  • notice the new daisy embossing folder? That is the new Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder found here. It is currently out of stock, but add your email on the product page to be informed when it’s back.
  • And that pretty Bubble Bath 1/8″ ribbon is wonderful and easy to work with. See it here.
