Earthen Elegance kit to go or get the PDF tutorial option

I couldn't decide which designer paper to feature for this month's card kit to go. So I did a poll on my Facebook page. Earthen Elegance won!

Here are the cards I created:

Three of the five designs are fun fold cards. It seems like many people like to create these; something you don't get from a store-bought card.

I used the Earthen Textures stamp set for my greetings and some Earthen Textures dies too. You can use any greetings you'd like though. If you'd like to add on the Earthen Textures stamp set or bundle, message me here and I will add it on at a 10% savings.

Pretty Peacock was a featured color in three of the five cards; It pairs beautifully with brown tones and vanilla here.

The kit includes $20 in product including 1/2 pkg of the Earthen Textures DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Natural Wavy trim, Neutrals adhesive-backed sequins and 10 vanilla envelopes. For all that and the pre-cut kit, it's just $28 plus shipping!

Details on the pre-cut card kit:

The pre-cut kit and products are mailed out by the end of the month, barring any back-orders.
The kit includes all punched and die-cut pieces; everything is cut except your new designer paper.
You will need your own ink, greetings and adhesives. Plus a paper trimmer to cut your DSP.
The PDF tutorial is sent to you immediately via email.
The tutorial includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supplies list.

Parisian Blossoms Cards Kit to Go

For January I chose to feature the Parisian Blossoms specialty designer paper for my cards kit to go. The champagne foil accents and gorgeous patterns were sure to help create beautiful cards. Look!

I am thrilled with how they turned out. Two of the 5 designs are unique fun fold cards which are always a delight to create. There are 10 cards in this kit; 2 each of 5 designs. I used the following inks: Pool Party, Black, Petal Pink, Cherry Cobbler and Grapefruit Grove.

Painted Poppies in a window

Adding dimension and interest to a clean & simple card can be a challenge. Adding a window with the Stitched Nested Label dies does it easily.

I had this window piece in my bag of White scraps, so it was extra easy to make this card. I used the Stitched Nested Labels; which are a 'must have' in my opinion. Next time you want a die-cut, consider die-cutting it in the center of a larger piece so you can use both pieces!

The top White piece is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4", the second White layer is 3 5/8" X 4 7/8". The Granny Apple Green piece is 1 1/2" X 5 1/2".

Just like yesterday's card I used my Dark Poppy Parade blends marker to color the new 1/4" White Crinkled ribbon for the bow. Both of the images are stamped in Black Memento ink. I colored the green leaves and bud with a Granny Apple Green Blends marker. The poppy flower is colored by stamping with one of the stamps in the Painted Poppies set.

Peaceful Poppies; easy cards!

The new Peaceful Poppies designer series paper is gorgeous with bright, pretty colors and lots of poppies! There's one sheet in particular that makes it super easy to make quick, floral cards. Click here to see it in my store.

It's the sheet of paper on the far left above.

I cut the paper at 5 1/2" across and above the flowers. Then into 3" strips. Now I have 8 panels of flowers ready for cards!

I made two cards here adding a 1" X 5 1/2" strip of Poppy Parade on the left and a white punched border using the Decorative Ribbon Border punch. The cards are Old Olive cut at 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"

You might wonder where I found that pretty crinkled Poppy Parade ribbon. It's the new 1/4" White crinkled ribbon that I colored Poppy with my Dark Poppy Parade blends. I LOVE being able to color my ribbon the exact color I need for my projects!
