Double Pillar Window card technique with video; it’s so cool you’ll want to try it!

I made this card on Tuesday's Live video; it's a Double Pillar Window card! It has so much dimension and is also fun to play with.

I used the Stitched Rectangle dies – 4 different sizes – on this card. Two for the Country Gingham designer paper frame and two for the Navy frame/layer that's popped up. *These are a must have!

*If you do have these dies I used the 5th & 3rd from the largest for the designer paper frame. For the card stock I used 6th and 2nd from the largest.

See the pillars under the top layer? They are about 3/8" X 3" and fit right inside the DSP window under the upper layer. They fold down flat for mailing.

Measurements:

Navy CS 5 ½” X 8 ½” and stitched die-cut 4 ¾” X 3 3/8” outside size
4” X 5 ¼” DSP, cut with Stitched Rectangles. Pillars – 2 pieces 3” X 1 7/8” DSP; scored every 3/8”
White 3 ½” X 2 ½” inside frame, Inside layer is 4 ¾” X 3 ½”

Power of Hope meets Peacock Foil

For our February Flowerbug's Team swap we chose to do a swap featuring Sale-a-Bration cards. They are all fantastic! Over the top wonderful. I cannot wait to share them all with you.

Here's the one I made using the Power of Hope bundle seen here. It's one of the free items you receive with purchase during our Sale-a-Bration promotion from now through March 31st; or while supplies last. I do suspect this will sell out before March is over.

I textured the Noble Peacock Foil (seen here) with the Stone embossing folder from this bundle. Adding texture to this pretty foil brings it over the top! I also added a layer of vellum and a few flags of Peacock foil. It comes in 6 single-sided sheets of 12 X 12" foil paper. 2 each of 3 colors: Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock. There are Noble Peacock rhinestones that match this paper perfectly.

Seriously the Best Cards with Golden Honey Folio gift pouch & video

I chose to use the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Paper for my color inspiration. It's Black, White with Gold foil accents. Measurements and details are below.

As you can see I made a few cards with just black, white and gold. Then I added color on the other with Melon Mambo & used just the black and white DSP. You can add any of your favorite colors to this pretty paper; Black and White is just the beginning!

Here are the measurements for the folio pouch and cards.
- Folio is 8 1/2" X 11". Score on the long side at 5 1/4" and 5 3/4". Score on the short side at 6 1/2".
- DSP on the front is 4 1/2" X 5 3/4" and the white layer is 4 5/8" X 6"
- Cards measure 4 1/4" X 9"; scored at 5 1/2". DSP is 3 1/4" X 4" and 1 7/8" X 4".

I did have trouble getting a good photo of the actual colors on this one. I added Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon and Champagne rhinestones to this one. I cannot resist adding these when I can. They're beautiful!
