Black & White with a POP of color & ALL fun folds for my 2nd July card kit to go; or choose the tutorial only option
I'm always drawn to Black & White patterned paper because it's such a fun start to creating. Black & White with a 'pop' of color are usually quite striking, eye-catching cards and these are no exception!
Each one is a unique fun fold design with great pops of color too.
I chose to use the Biggest Wish stamp set for my greetings but you can substitute any set you own. Or add it on to the kit at an extra 10% off.
Here's how it works:
The pre-cut card kit includes $20 in product and you receive the PDF tutorial free. It's the best deal.
You'll receive 1/2 pkg of the Perfectly Penciled DSP (6" X 12"), a share of the Iridescent Pearls and 1/8" Tahitian Tide ribbon. You'll have plenty of supplies left to make even more cards! The kit includes all pre-cut pieces including die-cuts or punched pieces. It does not include textured embossing.
The kit and tutorial include 2 each of 5 card designs. The PDF tutorial includes photos, measurements, supplies and step & step directions. I have just a few of these left. See all of my kits here
*Get the pre-cut kit plus tutorial here. **Choose the PDF tutorial only here.
What you need to complete these cards:
- A paper trimmer, adhesives & paper snips
- Inks and stamp greetings (inks are Real Red, Black & Tahitian Tide)
- Die-cut & embossing machine to add texture to some layers
These cards are uniquely special and can be used for many occasions.

Get a 2 toned leaf with Watercolor Pencils with the Soft Seedlings stamp set
Here's another card I shared on this week's FB Live video. I continued with the same color scheme of Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam. Who knew these colors would be so pretty together!?
I used the Soft Seedlings stamp set (seen here) from the new Holiday catalog along with the FREE cards & envelopes from our newest Sale-a-Bration line.
I inked and stamped the main leaf image in Soft Sea Foam directly onto the Soft Sea Foam card stock. Then I used a watercolor pencil from the Assortment 2 package to highlight the leaf with the blue/green hue. Afterwards I blended it with my Wink of Stella pen.
These Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam cards & envelopes are a free choice from our new Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here. I love SAB when we can all get something free with our orders! Spend a minimum of $50 and pick something absolutely free!
These cards & envelopes are one of my top picks in the catalog. The package includes 20 envelopes and 10 each of Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam card bases. Today's project features the Soft Sea Foam card base. You can use them for lots of cards in the future!
Other products used:
- Stylish Shapes dies for the banners
- Bough punch with vellum card stock
- Sponge daubers, Wink of Stella
- Clear rhinestones with a Granny Apple Green Blends marker to change them from clear to green.
Below you can see all three cards I shared in the video. I also shared a bunch of swap cards I received using this stamp set. I hope you watch it!

Soft Seedlings with the new Sale-a-Bration cards & envelopes
On yesterday's FB Live I shared 3 cards featuring the new Soft Seedlings stamp set. The first two featured the new FREE Sale-a-Bration cards & envelopes too.
You can use them for lots of cards in the future!
The package includes 20 envelopes and 10 each of Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam card bases. Today's project features the Soft Sea Foam card base.
You might wonder how I achieved the two-toned look of the leaf. I stamped it first in Soft Sea Foam and removed a bit of the ink on the edges with a sponge dauber. Then I added Pool Party ink to those same areas. Huff and stamp! Watch the video here to see how it's done.
There is a vellum leaf on the stamped leaf for both texture and shimmer. I sponged the punched leaf (Bough punch), sponged a bit of color and curled the leaves. Lastly I added Wink of Stella to both leaves for a pretty shimmer effect.
I trimmed off 1" along the bottom edge of the card base and adhered it to the inside.
Then I cut a white scalloped edge using the Contour Scalloped dies. I textured the 1 1/4" Pool Party card stock strip with the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder seen here. I LOVE this folder! I attached the embossed layer to the scalloped White trim and then adhered to the card front.
The 'hello' is stamped on a die-cut from the Tea Cup dies and added over two bows; one with Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon and another with White twine.
Click on the video below to watch how it's made along with two other cards using this stamp set.
