Corner Latch Cards Video with Expressions in Ink

I absolutely LOVE this fun fold!  It makes such good use of both your card stock and designer paper.  There's a video at the bottom of this post so you can catch my tips and watch me make these. 

I chose to use the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Paper for these cards.  It's absolutely stunning and filled with alcohol ink backgrounds. This means you don't have to create them yourself!

This card is made with our new Polished Pink card stock along with a bit of Gold foil accents die-cut with the beautiful Artistic dies.

Below is the same card made with different papers from this DSP only the card base is Pale Papaya.  An entirely different look with the softer colors.  The flowers & leaves are from the same stamp set and die bundle.

  • Stunning cards in the Thoughtful Journey kit to go; or choose the PDF tutorial

    I couldn't wait to play and create with the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey designer paper.  I think scenic paper like this makes card making a breeze!  I decided to make each card a fancy fold too.

  • Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

    SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

    This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

    The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

    Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.
