Colorful Sunflowers the easy way!

Marilyn made this pretty card with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here) for one of our latest Flowerbug's Team swaps.  I believe she found the idea on Pinterest.  I love how it features 4 of our new In Colors! 

Celebrate Sunflowers Marilyn In Colors Save

The card base is Bumblebee.  She added Black card stock and ink to pull the colors together.  Here is a tip: stamp the sunflower on 4 different colored squares and then cut them into smaller squares.  You'll get enough stamped pieces for 4 cards!

Measurements:

  • Bumblebee card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
  • White – 5 1/4" X 4"
  • Black 3 3/4" square
  • Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblee – 3 1/2" squares for stamping. Then cut into 1 3/4" squares to puzzle piece on each card.

  • A neat Accordion Fun-Fold with the new Marbled Elegance – video too!

    I played with the Marbled Elegance suite on last week's video and created this card: 

    Marbled Elegance card Save

    The colors include Melon Mambo, Soft Sea Foam and Gold. I used lots of products from this new Suite including the Marbled Elegance DSP, the new Twisted Gold thread and the new Adhesive-backed heart sequins. I also used the Modern Herringbone embossing folder and the Sentimental Park dies for the greeting die-cut.

    The front and back of this card are panels measuring 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" but the inside is an accordion fold that is attached to the front and back. Such an easy fold to make and I like that it uses your cardstock efficiently.

  • Pretty Petals fun fold card with video & free project sheet

    They released a big bunch of new Online Exclusive products and the Pretty Petals stamp set was one of my picks. I made a bunch of these for an online swap I joined:
