Cheerful Daisies card; perfect for Springtime!

I'm excited to share this pretty card with you. We made it at my May card clubs. It features the Cheerful Daisy bundle.

I absolutely love the colors! I chose Lemon Lolly, Garden Green, white and the new Azure Afternoon. I think the blue washed layer from the Fresh as a Daisy designer paper shows off the white & yellow daisies perfectly.

Here's how we finished the inside:

I sponged extra yellow on the Lemon Lolly daisy centers before adding the White die-cut over them. Here's a photo of the dies display I made: I did not add the separate individual daisies that fir over the large yellow die-cut below. On my card they're white.

The ribbon wraps all around the card front and ties on the far left. The greeting covers the knot so you see mostly the ends.

Check out that amazing, detailed greenery die-cut! It even comes out of the die easily. Love it!

Fabulous Gone Fishing bundle swap cards

Father's Day is coming up Sunday and the Gone Fishing bundle is perfect for the occasion.

I received two swap cards on the cruise and thought you'd like to see them. First is my friend Susie Wood's card. Her style is similar to mine and we often share cards with each other. My husband and I spent time with her and her husband Deke on the cruise; not enough but we both treasure our friendship so much! Check out her fabulous blog here. Marvelous Nature Ombre technique with video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the other card I made during Tuesday's video. Both featured the new set called Marvelous Nature.

I used an ombre technique where I inked the solid stamped image with three inks consecutively. The top is Pool Party, the middle is Lost Lagoon and the bottom is Pretty Peacock.

The greeting is from the set but I did use the Stylish Shapes dies for it and popped it up on Dimensionals.

The card base is Lost Lagoon with two strips of Pretty Peacock under the main image. As you can see by the photo below the left card is lighter than the right one. In the video I went over the upper part of the image one more time using the Stamparatus; mostly so I could get a more solid, complete image.

Pretty Marvelous Nature card with video tutorial & measurements

I've seen a few projects with the Marvelous Nature set and was intrigued by it's reverse images. And it's nature so I ordered it. This card was one of two I made on this week's Live video:

I chose to use Lost Lagoon with Pretty Peacock. I also added some of the Hello, Irresistible designer paper. This pretty DSP is on sale right now too! See it here.

You may also spy the shimmery strip beside the greeting. This is our Soft Shimmer 12" X 12" paper pack seen here. It has 5 rich colors in it.

The Marvelous Nature stamp set (seen here) includes two beautiful images and three greetings. I kept my card very simple to show off the pretty fern image.
