Check out these Team swap cards!

Today I'm sharing a few of our August Flowerbug's Team swaps.  Our theme was to create a card without a greeting on the front.  It was quite the challenge for some of us!!  

First is a fractured card made by Karen.  She shared how to make it and we were all blown away by how easy it is!

I loved it so much I shared how to make it in a recent video.  See it here and my blog post here. 

She featured the Inked Botanicals designer paper and the Trucking Along bundle.  The Truck builder punch is unavailable at this time; it will be back in October.  Her card base & 1/4" strips are Calypso Coral.  Love that truck full of flowers!

Next is a sweet card made by Sharon who chose the Cheerful Daisies bundle seen here.

She added lots of die-cut daisies & leaves; some are sponged. She added the circles image (from Timeless Arrangements) using the Baby Wipe method.  Love this look!  And after stamping the circles she textured it with one of the Basics 3D embossing folders (online exclusive).  Plus she colored the White glittered ribbon (another online exclusive) by sponging on color.  So many great details!

Next is a pretty card made by Mary who featured the Darling Details bundle seen here.

The pretty & delicate frame adds beautiful detail to the Delightfully Eclectic designer paper in the center.  Her colors are Fresh Freesia, Night of Navy and Crushed Curry.

  • Diamond Gatefold fun fold card with Season of Green & Gold specialty paper – video too!

    On last week's Live video I created this beautiful fun fold card. It shows off both sides of our double sided designer paper beautifully!

    I chose to feature the stunning Season of Green & Gold specialty designer series paper seen here online.  It's filled with shades of green with gold foil accents and is part of our Online product line.

    I cased my friend Susie Wood who made the card on the left below:

    She used the Regal Flora designer paper in Cherry Cobbler with Blackberry Bliss. So very pretty!  Find more projects by my talented friend from Iowa here on her blog. 

    I love this neat fold!

    Details:

    • The pretty gold die-cut is from the Peaceful Season bundle seen here.
    • The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set seen here
    • The leaf die-cuts are from the Delicate Forest dies seen here

    Look at the extra details inside too. Wedding cards are fun because you can go over the top a bit! This gorgeous card will be given to my youngest son who's getting married this week.  I'm so thrilled for him and his fiance'. We're excited to welcome her into our family! 

    Diamond gatefold card open Save

    It used a pieces of designer paper measuring 12" X 5 1/4" that is adhered to a card base of 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".  It's scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10". Then the corners are folded down. Here's the simple template I drew:

  • Gorgeous Season of Green & Gold card kit to go; now with video!

    The gorgeous Green & Gold foil specialty paper is the star of these beautiful cards.

    Aren't they pretty?  The patterns include gold foil on one side of each sheet. 4 of 5 designs are fancy folds. 

    You have a choice between a pre-cut kit or a PDF tutorial.  Both now include a video tutorial!

    The tutorial includes photos, measurements, the supply list and step by step instructions. You'll also receive a link to an unlisted video tutorial. This will be sent via email after purchase.
