Check out these fabulous Christmas scene cards by the Flowerbug’s!

I love seeing what my Flowerbug's make for our Team swaps.  Everyone has their own style and I'm proud to share them with you this week. 

First is a sweet card by Candace who featured the North Pole Mischief stamp set.

I love the Red frame she added to the card; it's from the Fabulous Frames dies seen here.  She used Blends markers to color the images and added Red Rhinestones to set off the scene.

Next is a fun card made by Annette who featured the Penguin Place stamp set & Penguin Builder punch. These products are returning favorites from last year and many were super happy about it since the punch ran out of stock last year before some could grab it.

I absolutely love the scene she achieved using the Layering Diorama dies seen here!  She used Starry Sky CS on the back, stamping the stars using White Craft ink.  Then she added a layer of Orchid Oasis behind the penguin that looks like water.  So smart!

Lastly is a pretty card made by Marla.  She used the Peaceful Deer stamp set and Deer Builder punch.  

She stamped the trio of trees across the background and then one large tree in the foreground. It gives such depth to the scene.

I also like the way she used the Pearlized Enamel effects basics for her tree ornaments.  The stamped blue snowflakes in the sky finish the scene off perfectly!

  • New: Vine Design Dutch Door fold card

    I made several cards for online swaps featuring products in the upcoming 2021 Spring & Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This pretty fun fold card was one of them.  I gravitate towards anything with leaves or vines so I knew I'd like this set called Vine Design.

    The colors here are Night of Navy, Seaside Spray & Old Olive with White. I used my Stamparatus for the vine image; it's so perfect for multiple cards!  Perfect inking and placement each time. 

    See that greeting & layered ovals?  We have a new   DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH!!!  I'm so excited about this one.  I've missed out oval punches so much and now both are in one! 

    See the measurements below.

    Supplies:

    • Stamps – Vine  Design (2021 Spring Catalog)
    • Ink – Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray
    • CS -  Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray, Whisper White
    • Other – Double Oval Punch, Detailed Trio Punch, Well Suited Twine combo pack, Rhinestones, dimensionals, Mini glue dots

    • Night of Navy 2 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

  • Retro Circles layout with a quick video. So unique & versatile!

    I hope you had a nice Christmas weekend!  We sure did.  It's one of my favorite times of the year; one time where all of my kids are home and we're all together. 

    Here's another card we made at my December card clubs.  It was such a hit on Facebook Live Stamp with Me that I had to do it at Club too.  It's a great way to show off your designer paper with this retro style.  Scroll down to see the video. 

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    You just need three circles of different sizes.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies so they have the extra detail of stitches on the edges.  I use these dies so much!  If you don't have them I highly recommend them. See them here. 

    I used the Brightly Gleaming specialty DSP here and instead of the copper foiled side I used the other side which has Navy, Mossy Meadow & Island Indigo.

    The stamped images are from the Itty Bitty Birthday & Lots to Celebrate stamp sets.  Just one ink color; Night of Navy.

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    The above cards were made with various designer papers & stamp sets.  The top is Classic Christmas, left is Heartwarming Hugs and right is Snowflake Splendor. 

    Measurements:

    • Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Neutral (White or Vanilla) is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Greeting strip is 1/2" X 5" 
    • Circles are the largest three stitched circle dies 1 3/4", 2 3/8" & 2 7/8"

  • Let it Snow?! Are you having a White Christmas?

    Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Holiday today and that you are able to spend time with some of your favorite people. This year is so unusual and difficult for many who are isolated.  I wish you the best and thank you for your support this past year.  

    We did just get snow this week; very unusual for us in North Dakota!  So it's a white Christmas after all.  

    Here are two of my favorite wintery cards featuring my Life is Beautiful stamp set.

    Snowman Save

    The card above is Seaside Spray with Black & White.  The stamp set is Snowman Season in the Annual Catalog. 

    Snowflake Splendor card Save

    This card is made with the Snowflake Splendor designer paper.  Ink colors are black, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather. The DSP is retiring in a week or so and it's on sale here. 

    Snowman Save

    This card is very similar to the one above only made with Early Espresso & Balmy Blue.
