Change is Beautiful Paper Pumpkin alternatives; plus discounted past kits while supplies last!
April's Paper Pumpkin kit is filled with butterflies, scenes & fun fold cards. Each month I enjoy creating alternative designs with the contents in the kits to share with my subscribers each month.
I couldn't wait to play with this kit! Here's a pretty card I made just an hour after receiving my box:
I cut the front of a card base to fit on the front of a Crushed Curry card base and used other elements in the kit (butterfly, flower, banner & gems) to create this scene. I love changing up the cards; the kits are great as is but the challenge of creating something new is fun!
This next card uses the other half of the original card base. The flower layer and the polka dot layer behind it are from the original card. I did trim them just a bit to fit on a White layer.
Heads up on May's Paper Pumpkin kit – it will feature each of our 5 new In Colors AND they are adding Golden Vouchers worth $25 USD to some of the boxes. The winners will find their Golden Voucher in their May 2022 Paper Pumpkin box.
Exciting news!! They just announced that they are discounting some previous Paper Pumpkin refill kits at 50% off! Below you'll see the kits and others available to current subscribers. Click on a photo below or click here to see all of the available kits.

Love of Leaves; make one cut and get two cards!
Last week I shared a card featuring the Love of Leaves bundle. *You can see it below. Now I'm sharing the other card I made with the inside of the die-cut. Cut once and make two cards using these stitched leaf dies!
The die-cut is Soft Suede and the card base is Cajun Craze.
The Pretty Peacock designer paper is from the new Magic in the Night Halloween Designer Series paper seen here! As you can see, it's not just for Halloween!
I also used the new Celebration Label dies seen here;I love the stitched shape of these!
Life is Beautiful with a beautiful masked & sponged window technique!
I like to join many online card swaps in groups with friends from all over the country; especially when new catalogs come out.
Here is a swap I made with my Life is Beautiful stamp set; the set I helped create as a Million Dollar Achiever with Stampin' Up! I achieved this over a year ago but the stamp set just came out this month. You can order it now here.
I chose to use Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stock. The inks are Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso and Calypso Coral. I absolutely LOVE creating masked windows! Sponging is a learned art and I have some great tips for you. I shared this card on Facebook Live Tuesday, August 11th and uploaded the video to YouTube below.
Do you make doubles or more of your favorite cards? I actually really like making multiples of the same card. But when you're doing a time consuming technique like this one it can little 'old'! However, using the Stamparatus when making multiple cards is the ONLY way to go! It sure makes quick work of making many of the same card. I don't usually like to show my 'messy desk' pictures but you can see what happens to my desk area when I'm working! It gets smaller and so crowded! Ha!
The colors are Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie; one of my favorite color combo's for Fall. I added some sponging and a pretty die-cut from the Ornate Frames die seen here. The Linen thread behind the greeting is simply a big bow.
This card is included in my August card kit to go. The kit includes the Life is Beautiful stamp set AND an 8 cards pre-cut kit. You have through August 20th to get this kit and the pdf tutorial is also included. It's just $28; a steal for a stamp set AND cards kit! Read all about it here.
Did you notice the stitching on the bottom of this card? That's done with the Love of Leaves dies seen here:
