Springtime Scenes diagonal fold – 2 ways!

I’m excited to share this neat card with you today. We made it at my April Card Clubs.

Isn’t it beautiful? It features the Springtime Scenes bundle seen here and the Delicate Dreams DSP seen here. This DSP is so pretty they cannot keep it in stock! Be sure to add your email to the product so you get notified when it comes back in stock.

This card might look like it’s difficult but it’s as simple as trimming off one half of the card front at a diagonal and flipping it over. Yup; that’s it! Watch my video below to see how it’s done.

My colors include Secret Sea, Hydrangea Hue (new in color), White and Crumb Cake. The largest circle is from the Spotlight on Nature dies seen here. The small White circle is from Stylish Shapes dies.

We tried this layout in both landscape & vertical position. Which do you prefer?

Look at these awesome Sale-a-Bration Team Swaps

This weekend we held our Team meeting & swap and I can't wait to share them all with you!

First up is Mary's card featuring the Rings of Love designer series paper. She created a double Z fun fold card!

Her colors include Night of Navy & Mint Macaron. She used the Charming Sentiments bundle for her greeting and popped it up onto a Mint Oval punched piece.

Measurements:
- Night of Navy 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2"
- Mint Macaron 9 3/4" X 3 1/4" scored at 4 1/4" & 7 1/4"
- DSP is 4" X 3"
- White is 2 1/4" X 3"
Next is a sweet card made by Karen; it's a perfect layout for quick cards that highlight your designer paper! She also used the Rings of Love designer paper; it's free in August with a $50 order. See it here.

Her colors are also Night of Navy with Mint Macaron. She colored her White seam binding ribbon Navy with a Blends marker.

Measurements:
- White card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored in half at 4 1/4"
- Night of Navy 3 1/4" X 4 1/4"
- Designer paper 3" X 4"
- Mint greeting strip 3 1/4" X 3/4"
Next is a pretty card made by Laura. She featured the Wonderful You Designer Paper which is part of the Wonderful You stamp set & designer paper bundle seen here. They're both free with a $100 Stampin' Up! order in August.

She used the Stylish Shapes stitched square dies to cut the flowers out of the designer paper. No stamping needed!

The Fern 3D embossing folder is so pretty with these delicate flowers.

Measurements:
- White card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
- Mossy Meadow 5 1/2" X 2" and 5 1/2" X 1/2"
- Designer Paper is 5 1/2" X 1"
- The die-cut squares are 1 1/2"

Rings of Love Triple Panel card with video & measurements

Here's one more card I made during last week's FB Live with the free Rings of Love designer paper in our Sale-a-Bration offering.

I cut a 3 1/4" X 3" piece of the designer paper and then cut it into three 1" strips. I then layered it onto three strips of Evening Evergreen CS.

I textured the Crumb Cake layer with the Timber embossing folder – it's also a new Free Sale-a-Bration choice in August; with any $50 Stampin' Up! order.

I love how the three panels create a 'scene', making the DSP the star of the card. See the Rings of Love DSP here.

Measurements:
- Poppy Parade 5 ½”X 8 ½”
- White is 5 ¼” X 4”, Crumb Cake 5” X 3 ¾”
- Evergreen is 5 1/8” X 3 7/8”, DSP is 1” X 3 ¼”
- Evergreen strips are 1 1/8” X 3 3/8”

Perched in a Tree Explosion card with video tutorial!

I can't stop using the Aspen dies! I absolutely love this tree die-cut!

I created this card on last week's FB Live video. You can watch it here.

For the card front, I simply added a layer of the Rings of Love DSP behind it for a soft background. You can keep it this simple or create your own background!

However I made the inside of the card extra special with an Explosion fold. These look so difficult to do but honestly they're not! Please watch the video; afterwards you'll want to make one!

The left card has the Rings of Love DSP and the card on the right features the Storybook Gnomes designer paper. For greetings I used the Soft Seedlings & Perched in a Tree stamp sets.

I also shared an easy ribbon trick in the video; if you have trouble with bows I hope you watch.

Measurements:
- Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
- DSP – 3 7/8” X 5 1/8”, inside is 8” square
- Greeting strip 1” X 4”
- White 4” X 5 ¼” & inside is 3 ½” square
