Pretty Bridge fold card with Snowflake Kisses with free project sheet & video tutorial

I shared this pretty card on last week’s Live video. It features the Elegant Pine Snowflake designer paper and the Snowflake Kisses bundle.

My colors include Pretty Peacock, White & Lost Lagoon above. The Elegant Pine Snowflake designer paper is beautiful and can be seen here.

I created a second card with Secret Sea as the card base instead of Pretty Peacock. Which do you prefer?

This card is a bridge fun fold layout. It starts out with a 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ card base but requires two extra cuts from the center score line down 1 1/8″ from each edge. It’s easy with our Paper Trimmer. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.

The photo below shows the card closed, the main panel lifted and the inside! Tip: We used a handmade stencil to sponge snowflakes on the inside. *cut snowflakes from a piece of card stock and sponge or blend ink through the windows.

• Santa Suit candy bar pull-up treat with measurements

  I shared this cute candy bar treat on my Tuesday FB Live video this week. Need a last minute treat or stocking stuffer??

  

  When you pull the ribbon it brings the candy bar out of the 'suit'.  So fun! And quite easy to make too.  It fits a standard full size Hershey candy bar but would likely work for others too.  
  

  Measurements: 

  • Real Red 6” square scored on one side at 1 ½”, 1 ¾”, 4 ¼” & 4 ½”
  • Black strip ¾” X 6” scored same as above, Black 1/2" 'buttons'
  • White glimmer ¾” X 6”
  • Silver buckle is from the Potted Succulents dies

  The  greeting is from the Holly Jolly Wishes  stamp set.  I used the Tailor Made Tags for my White greeting tag.

• Snowflake Vellum fun fold card with video

  We made this pretty card at my December Card Clubs.  I thought snowflakes would be perfect for many occasions coming up. 

  

  I used the Snowflake 12" specialty vellum that 'was' in our Holiday catalog.  They ran out of stock in early December.  And the Wonderful Snowflakes (large white snowflake) was discounted on the Last Chance list but they've run out now too!  This time of year is so difficult to plan for.  

  But they loved the card and thought the fold was fun too.

  Details: 

  • The back of the card is simply a quarter sheet of Starry Sky card stock – 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".  
  • The fold is 3 1/4" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". 
  • The large piece of vellum and the white inside are 3" X 4".  The side pieces of vellum are about 1 1/2" X 4".
  • I used the Joyful Flurry stamp set (retiring) & dies for the inside of the left card.  The Frosted Flurry dies are now out of stock. The birthday greeting on the right is from the Celebrating You stamp set (annual catalog)
  • The Starry Sky stitched circle is 3" around; a die-cut from the Stylish Shapes dies seen here.  They are also out of stock right now!  Sheesh!  I picked popular items for this card, didn't I?
