Get inspired by a sketch with this sweet Splash of Sparkles card

Each month I give my Flowerbug’s a creative challenge and they can participate if they’d like. This month it was a sketch:

You can find card sketches like this all over Pinterest or other online sites. I think they’re a wonderful and easy way to create a card. Remember that sketches are a starting point; they don’t have to be exact or even that similar. They’re a great way to be inspired.

I chose the Splash of Sparkles specialty designer paper for mine. See it here.

My colors include Bubble Bath, Timid Tiger, Gold & White; all inspired by the beautiful designer paper. Who would have thought to combine these colors together? But the DSP is the magic that makes it work.

I used a few different products here:

The greeting and die-cut are from the Lovely Arrangements bundle.

Hand-Penned Cards Kit to go!

This kit to go includes a 10 cards pre-cut kit with 2 each of 5 designs including many fun-fold cards. *Opt in by June 18th to get it!

Pretty Pansy Patch fun fold card with measurements!

Check out this pretty fun fold card using the Pansy Patch suite:

The flowers are die-cut from the Pansy Petals designer paper. Yes; the Pansy dies match the Designer paper perfectly – 2 sets each of leaves and flowers coordinate!

Note that adorable golden bee embellishment. They're called Bumblebee trinkets but they are currently unavailable. They should be back in stock around June 7th.

Here are the measurements for this pretty card:
- Evening Evergreen: 8 ½” X 5 ½” base scored at 1 ¼” and 4 ¼”
- Fresh Freesia: 1” X 5 ¼”
- Basic White: 2 pieces – 3” X 4 ¼” for stitched rectangle die-cut and 2 ¾” X 4” for inside
- Pansy Petals Designer Paper: 1 ½” X 5 ½” plus more for the die-cut pansies
