Cutest Crew card swap

Here’s the card I made for our latest Team card swap. What do you think of the color combo?

As you can see, I used the Cutest Crew bundle here. I’m a cat owner so I chose the cats. My colors include Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, White and Basic Gray.

This adorable bundle is in our Online store and was available last week but now the dies are out of stock again. I have a feeling this is how it will be for awhile. We all love our pets! The largest card base is Crushed Curry and the next layer is Smoky Slate which is the part that opens.

I colored in the images with Blends markers. It was fun to color them in cat like patterns.

  • Sweet Citrus video; a Grapefruit version with optional gift card

    We made this CUTE fun fold card at my February Card Clubs and it was a big hit!  Everyone loved the fresh color combo and how cool the textured fruit images are.

    I used the Sweet Citrus bundle seen here and these colors: Flirty Flamingo, Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green.  You can sure see the texture in the photo above.  Did you know you can use our Hybrid embossing folders to texture and die-cut all at once?  It's super cool and saves a step. 

    I show how in the video along with how to stamp the fruit perfectly using the Stamparatus.  Perfect every time!

    The card is a bit different in that the lower panel can be left open to add a gift card or money into.  Or seal it up; your choice.

    • Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 4" & 9 1/2"
    • White 4" X 3 1/2" for textured front, stamped front panel is 2 7/8" X 4", inside is 4" X 3 1/2"

    • Pale Papaya strip 4 1/4" X 3/4"

  • Sweet Citrus bundle with a Hybrid embossing folder; you can texture & cut at the same time!

    In a recent video I shared multiple projects featuring the Sweet Citrus bundle.  Every card I make with this set is my favorite!  How can that be?

    Sweet Citrus lemonLet's start with colors – they're Balmy Blue with Daffodil Delight and Garden Green.  So fresh and spring-like.  

    The designer paper is called Country Gingham seen here. 

    The images and greetings are all from the Sweet Citrus stamp set. It comes in a bundle with dies AND a Hybrid embossing folder. See it here

    What is a Hybrid embossing folder?  It's one that allows you to cut AND texture at the same time.  You can use it the usual way as well.  But using the die & folder together eliminates a step.  I show how it's done in the video here.

    There are many reasons to get this bundle but the greetings are a big one.  So perfect and coordinate nicely with the stamp theme.

  • The Hello, Irresistible card kit to go is here!

    I had to use the new Hello, Irresistible designer paper for my March card kit to go.  It's absolutely gorgeous with fresh spring colors plus deep, rich tones too.

    The colors include Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam.

    You will need a paper trimmer (to cut your new DSP), adhesives, greeting images and a few ink pads.  I used the Irresistible Blooms stamp set for greetings but you can substitute others if needed.
