Card Ideas – Flowerbugs Inkspot

Beautiful Autumn themed card swaps by my Team.

November 4, 2026

Today I’m sharing two card swaps by my talented team members. Our theme was Autumn or Halloween.

First is a stunning card made by Tracey. She used the new Stampin’ Hot Foil system here:

I was absolutely blown away by this card! She used the Lustrous Leaves hot foil dies seen here. It includes a set of masks that allow you to add gorgeous colors using Blending Brushes.

Here’s a photo of the bundle:

Her colors include Lost Lagoon with Crisp Cantaloupe. The silver hot foil details really makes the leaves stand out!

The greeting is stamped on a Spotlight on Nature die-cut. See those here.

Next is a sweet fall card made by Candy.

She used the Simple Leaves bundle seen here.

Her colors include Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Berry Burst and Old Olive. The neat embossing folder is called Textured Tree Ring and can be found here. It’s on the Last Chance list and available while supplies last. It’s reduced in price too!

I’ll share another Team swap card tomorrow; stay tuned!

Mixed Media Floral fun fold card kit to go (or choose the PDF tutorial option)

February 13, 2025

Here is the other card kit to go & tutorial for February. It features the Mixed Media Floral designer paper seen here from our Online Exclusives.

These eye catching cards are all fancy folds. You'll make 2 each of the 5 card designs. Who doesn't love adding a few new fold ideas? The great thing is you'll have samples in hand to case later.

The kit includes these Stampin' Up! products – a share of each – Mixed Media Floral DSP, the Low-Profile gems, scalloped Petal Pink ribbon and the Greetings for All Ephemera pack.

No stamping is needed with this awesome Ephemera pack. They're all printed in Black & White and ready to add to your projects. You can sponge the edge, use markers to color or leave them as is. They're a wonderful deal – 2 of each sheet for $7.

The pre-cut kit includes all card bases, layers and punched or die-cut pieces. You will need a paper trimmer for your new DSP.

To reserve a pre-cut kit to go for $31 click here. To purchase the PDF tutorial for $16 click here.

The PDF tutorial will be emailed to your immediately after payment. Please check your junk mail! The kit with product will be shipped to you at the end of February, barring any product shortages.

*Supplies needed: a paper trimmer (for your new DSP), greeting images, ink & adhesives.

Remember I have other kits as well; check them all out here and save on shipping.

Beautiful DSP Diamond Gatefold card with video & free project sheet

February 11, 2025

I shared this pretty fun fold card on last week's Live video. You can see it here or scroll down a bit.

It features the Spring Corners bundle seen here and the Bloom Impressions DSP from our Sale-a-Bration promotion. This DSP can be seen here. It's free with any $60 purchase! Unfortunately it's in low inventory status and may be gone soon. I love it and thought it was one of our best offerings.

The Spring Corners set is one of my new favorites; I love the unusual corner style greetings and other images but the dies are special too! As you can see in the front panel I die-cut the coneflower image and then replaced the flower centers with Melon Mambo pieces. So easy and a fun trick!

Here's how it looks when it's opened below. Notice the greeting is in two lines horizontally. I cut the 'corner' shaped stamp set at the corner point so I could have a normal inside greeting. When I want to use it as a corner stamp it easily fits back together on my block again.

Here is the free project tutorial with measurements, directions and a supplies list. Just click on this link to download or print it. Download DSP Diamond Gatefold card

Below is the video tutorial for this card and another special fun fold. I hope you watch it and don't forget to subscribe to my channel!
