Save time on finishing the inside of your cards with this trick!

I’m excited to share these stunning snowflake cards with you today. We made them at my card clubs in December.
Living in North Dakota, we usually see a lot of snow in the winter so these cards are great for many occasions.

I used the Snowflake Kisses bundle seen here. It’s filled with wonderful greeting images and lots of snowflake dies.

My colors include Pretty Peacock with Cloud Cover and Gorgeous Grape with Fresh Freesia. I think blues & purples are perfect for snowflakes. We used a blending brush to add more color to the large snowflake die-cut.

After creating the cards above I thought I’d try combining the colors on the large die-cut.

Isn’t that pretty? I just love combining Gorgeous Grape with Pretty Peacock on the Fresh Freesia die-cut. Blending Brushes make this a breeze!

Look how we finished the inside.

I wanted to add snowflakes to the inside of the card but didn’t want to die-cut tons of them for my club gals. So I came up with creating a snowflake stencil.
I cut multiple snowflakes from a piece of card stock and we used Blending Brushes to add pretty snowflakes to our White layer. I truly love the effect it gives.

Positive Thoughts; This or That?

I made two versions of this card; one for a swap and another for a card class. Which do you prefer?

Purple Posy on the left and Petal Pink on the right.

I did have trouble getting a good photo of the actual colors on this one. I added Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon and Champagne rhinestones to this one. I cannot resist adding these when I can. They're beautiful!

Pleased as Punch Cards kit to go; bright and springy!

For February I chose to feature the new Pleased as Punch designer paper for my cards kit to go. It's bright and springy and coordinates with 4 of our newest punches! The Tulip, Umbrella, Heart Punch pack and new Blossom punches are the four.

I absolutely love these cards! All of the 5 designs are unique fun fold cards which are always a delight to create and fun for the recipient. Here's a photo of the Pleased as Punch designer paper; available now!

*You do not need to own the punches to complete these cards. They are easy to fussy cut!

I used the following inks: Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue and Calypso Coral.

Pleased as Punch fun fold card

I made this card for a recent online swap I participated in. I believe this type of fold is called a 'Joy Fold' card.

The Pool Party piece is folded in half; the bottom part is under the front flap of the White layer. See measurements below.

I chose to use the brand new Pleased as Punch designer paper seen here. It coordinates with FOUR of our current punches – amazing! The two hearts on this card are punched directly from the designer paper.

I love it so much I am featuring it for my February card kit to go. I'll share that with you tomorrow.

Details:
- The hearts are punched from the DSP with the Heart Punch Pack
- The ribbon is the White seam binding on page 25 of the January – June Mini catalog
- the sequins are from the free SAB Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins combo pack seen here
- the embossing folder is the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder seen here

- White – 4 1/4" X 8 1/2" scored at 5 1/2"
