Cutest Crew Club card; quick & cute! Free project sheet too
This is one of the cards we made at my April card clubs; it features the Cutest Crew bundle.
The Cutest Crew bundle (seen here) has been so popular they cannot keep it in stock! The dies were available last week but now they’re gone again. They should be back the week of May 18th though. Be sure to add your email to the product page so you get a notification as to when they’re available.
My colors are Coastal Cabana with White, Pecan Pie & Crumb Cake. I used the Hobby Haven and Wood Grain Wonders designer papers on my card. Here’s the cat version:
I colored the critters in with Blends markers; stamping the images with Black Memento ink. The stitched die is from the Nested Essential dies seen here; one of my favorites.
I stamped the paw prints image repeatedly in the inside and added one of the pet die-cuts.
Which is your favorite?
I shared a video last week on Facebook and it’s now uploaded to my YouTube Channel. Plus you can access the free project sheet here.

Check out this neat Botanical Expressions fun fold card
I shared this pretty card on last week’s Live video. It features a new die from the Online store called Botanical Expressions:
You can see a glimpse of the die in the photo above. It cuts the leaves out but not the edge, so you can make the leaf element as wide as you’d like. See this die here.
My colors include White with Peaceful Pine. The designer paper is the Moonlit Flora DSP seen here. The greeting tag is from the Scalloped Blooms dies. I’ve been using the greeting tags in this set of dies a lot.
This card fold is what I’m calling a Vertical Book-binding Z-fold.

Another sample using DSP strips; the pretty Velvet Meadow DSP
I shared a card using a strips technique a few days ago and wanted to share the card that inspired it today.
Here are the products I used: Velvet Meadow DSP, Bubble Bath, Berry Burst & Peaceful Pine CS. The greeting is from the Flowering Meadow stamp set and the scalloped tags are from the Scalloped Blooms dies seen here.
When using up your strips you can adhere them diagonally across your card stock, leaving a small space between each. Once this CS is filled in, trim off the excess on the edges.
The Velvet Meadow specialty paper has a fuzzy, flocked feel to the flowers and some leaves. It’s luxurious! Check it out here. I fussy cut the flower and leaves to add to the greeting.

Here’s the second card I made featuring the Violet Dreams suite. I shared it during last week’s video.
It showcases the pretty Violet Dreams DSP seen here. There are 3 pieces from the DSP on this card: the violets die-cut, the striped frame and the green DSP strip. This DSP has 2 sheets of die-cut ephemera included in the package. I love that; it opens up so many options when creating.
Besides the DSP I added the White layer behind the frame, the Hydrangea Hue ribbon and rhinestones. So quick!
Here’s the free project sheet for this card; click here.
Look closely at the coordinating colors on this card. Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to create with perfectly matching colors. It’s my very favorite thing about SU. I used the violets as the starting point and simply repeated each color once or twice on my project for a wonderfully cohesive look.
Tip: If you struggle with color coordination pick two colors and repeat them at least once if not twice on your project. This works!
Check out the video below where I shared on more pretty card featuring DSP strips.
