Card ideas for the Box & Cards; free project sheet with video tutorial

I shared this beautiful box with cards on yesterday’s blog post. You’ll see it in the video and project sheet below too. Today I’ll focus on the cards included in the pretty box.

The featured products include the Lovely Blossoms suite. This card box can fit up to 6 cards with envelopes inside. It’s super easy to make too! It’s included in the free project sheet seen below.

For these cards I used the Lovely Arrangements bundle seen here. And the Lovely Blossoms designer series paper seen here.

This first card is a fun fold card; quite unique!

It doesn’t look much different from the front. The colors include Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, Old Olive & White. Here’s a photo of it open:

The White inside layer has two extra folds in it. There’s a narrow flap adhered to the card front that let’s it open in an unusual way. The measurements are in the free project sheet below.

This next card is deceptively simple; but I added a simple trick to layering the DSP on the front:

The main image is from the Lovely Blossoms DSP. This DSP includes multiple printed elements perfect to make the focus of the card. It’s the printed Olive DSP under it I want to call your attention to. Both pieces measure 3″ X 4″. I cut the Olive DSP in half on the diagonal and added that as a layer to the flower layer. Quick and easy but unique. Instead of the traditional even layers this adds interest to your card.

Lastly is a card that shows off a special die-cut in the Lovely Arrangements bundle:

It’s Petal Pink with Secret Sea and White. That multiple circles die is so cool! It truly adds some playfulness to the card. The greeting is stamped on a circle die-cut from the Spotlight on Nature dies seen here.

Happy Thoughts Fun Fold cards kit to go; opt in by the 18th!

Lately I've been offering two different pre-cut card kits each month. I'm finding so many great products to feature; I cannot help it! And I like offering a variety of options for my customers.

January’s Card Kits to go; 1st is True Love black & white with pops of color!

I was so happy when I saw the True Love designer paper in the new Spring Catalog. I absolutely LOVE black & white prints in our papers! I find it's the most versatile to use since you can add ANY COLOR you want to it and Black and White makes it POP!

If you like to fussy cut or color you'll fall in love with this pretty paper.

Look at these pretty cards! And you can color the floral images with markers OR fussy cut them out to add beautiful detail to the cards.

I created 5 cards; two of each design for a total of 10 cards. Three of the five designs are unique fun folds too. *see photo below

You'll receive all pre-cut, punched & die-cut pieces, 1/2 package of True Love Designer paper (6" X 12"), black glittered ribbon, Black matte gems and a share of 2020-22 In Color enamel dots so you can finish these cards at home.

I chose to use the Vine Design stamp set since it's full of a wide variety of greetings and the lovely vine and floral images too. You can add on either the stamp set or bundle at an extra 10%! It fits in the package and costs nothing extra in shipping costs. And if you do you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration choice also.

I used Black, Real Red and Just Jade inks. Remember you'll stamp your own images.

How do my kits to go work?
- Once you pay you'll be on the list to receive the kit. They are shipped out at the end of the month.
- Then you'll receive the PDF instructions in an email; immediately upon payment. It includes photos, measurements (to make more!), a supplies list and step by step directions.
- You'll use my measurements to cut your new designer paper for each card. Don't worry; I keep the measurements easy!
- You'll use the instructions and the supplies in your kit to complete the cards.

Details:
- I also used a new and FREE Designer Paper called Paper Blooms here. The colors are Seaside Spray with Navy & White. I use this pretty color combo often.
- Can you tell it's a fun fold? The Seaside Spray is 3" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". I added texture with the Meadow Moments embossing folder. The Navy layer is a quarter sheet 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".
- I punched a white Small Bloom punch and added a pearl to the center. It's sponged for a bit of color.
- The main image is stamped and punched out with the Rectangular Postage Punch.
