Blessings of Home card ideas; beautiful layouts

This week I'm sharing Monochromatic cards made by my Flowerbug's Team members.  It was our swap theme this month.  

It was a challenge for some but their cards were incredible as usual! Both cards today feature the Blessings of Home bundle; seen here.

This first card was created by Marilyn.  Her colors include Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy & White.

She used the large flower image to create a background using Misty Moonlight ink for a pretty tone on tone look.  She stamped the flower again on a piece of White CS and used the dies to cut it out. You cannot see in the photo but she added Wink of Stella to the flower.  

It's adhered over a pretty Encircled in Beauty Navy die-cut.

This next card was created by Tracey using the same Blessings of Home bundle.  

She used 3 different designer papers here – Heart & Home, Hand-Penned & the In Color 6 X 6" prints. I love how our colors & products coordinate so effortlessly.  Our color coordination is what brought me to Stampin' Up! and keeps me happy to stay.

Details:

  • She stamped her flower image in Basic Gray ink and colored it in with Blends markers. It's fussy cut with the coordinating die-cut. 
  • She heat embossed her greeting with White embossing powder onto Designer Paper.  What a gorgeous card and a neat layout. 
  • The White CS behind the flower is textured with our new Gingham embossing folder seen here

  • The Hand-Penned Cards kit to go; Quick cards with no stamping!

    I love our Memories & More cards for quick and beautiful card making.  Most people truly enjoy creating with them. They're almost like a card starter kit but you can change or jazz up your projects in many ways.  And yu can use them for scrapbooking as well.

    The Hand-Penned cards & envelopes include 20 polka dot Pool Party card bases and beautiful printed envelopes with white foiling.

    Here's what I made:

    This kit includes half of the Hand-Penned Memories & More cards pack, the coordinating Cards & Envelopes and clear rhinestones.  If you like delicate florals and pretty patterns this kit is for you. *Opt in by July 19th! 

    The PDF includes directions & photos for fourteen 4" X 6" cards with envelopes and have leftover card bases and rhinestones to play with.

  • July’s Card Kit to Go; the beautiful Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP!

    The Expressions in Ink designer paper is stunning; I had to feature it in my July cards kit to go!  The cards in this kit show it off beautifully. 

    This pretty designer paper has been unavailable for the last month; Stampin' Up! expects to have it this week.  I'm sure hoping they're right!

    There are 10 gorgeous cards; 5 pairs including a few unique folds like a diamond gate fold and faux pocket card.  The PDF is emailed to you immediately upon payment on the links above.  Please check your spam or junk folder. 

    The actual kit is mailed out via Priority Mail at the end of July. *If you are a subscriber of my monthly kits, this is the one you'll receive for July.  

    Details:

    • This kit includes all pre-cut pieces for the 10 cards shown; except the Designer Paper. You'll receive 1/2 pkg. of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Paper (6" X 12"), the Ephemera Pack and Gold cording. 
    • You'll use the measurements in the PDF tutorial to cut your new Designer Paper. 
    • You'll have plenty of product left to create even more projects! 
    • The PDF Tutorial includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supplies list. You'll use the directions to create your cards with your own supplies.

  • Two Elegant cards by my Team

    Yesterday I shared two of my Flowerbug's Team swaps here and today I'm sharing two more.  They do a fabulous job on their swaps and I love seeing what they create!

    First is Tracey's card featuring the Friends are Like Seashells bundle.  The fact that the die has a coordinating embossing folder (seen here) makes these products AND projects uniquely special.  See it here.

    Her colors are Pool Party & Very Vanilla.  She embossed both the Vanilla die-cut layer and the Pool party layer to reveal the embossed dots on the background.  Love this!

    Lori made this next card with the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer paper seen here.  She colored the gold paper with Mint Macaron ink with Blending Brushes.  That extra pop of gold foil really brings it all together.
