Beautiful Embossed card swaps with foil accents

Our Team swap theme was to use foil or heat embossing on our cards. This was a fun theme that is especially easy around the holidays.

Today I’m sharing Jonna’s stunning card in Black, Silver & White:

It’s a ‘Wow’ card for sure! She textured the Basic Gray card layer with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder seen here first and then rubbed it with Versamark ink. Then she heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder. Just gorgeous!

Her measurements are as follows:
– Embossed layer 3 1/2″ square
– Black layer 3 3/4″ square, Black greeting layer 3 3/4″ X 1 1/4″
– White is 4″ X 5 1/4″, White greeting layer is 3 1/2″ X 1″

The greeting is from the Branching Out stamp set.

The other kit I created this month is also easy but does require stamped greetings. But there is very little prep & just a little trimming of the card bases to create these beautiful wintery cards:

These cards could be winter or holiday; it’s your choice when you stamp the greetings.

This kit originated from a former Paper Pumpkin kit but I jazzed up the cards and added more to create 12 gorgeous cards. This kit includes 12 envelopes and a share of Peppermint gems plus the PDF tutorial.

I wanted to share two more of my favorite kits from our Kit Collection seen here.

First is a thank you kit called ‘Thank You Kindly’. It’s an elegant set of cards that are both special & easy to make.

They’re mostly white with gold foil accents & that stunning black pre-printed greeting. This is a non-stamping kit. It’s currently in low inventory so it will likely sell out soon. It’s just $14 and can be seen here.

Next is the gorgeous Harvest Home Garland that can also be made into a wreath. It would be great for your Thanksgiving table or used as a wreath.

It took me about 1 1/2 hours to make mine. I even added some sponging/blending to the paper leaves (which wasn’t in the directions. It have everything you need except hot glue – recommended to attach the leaves to the rope. It’s so pretty and I love the non-traditional colors that still have an autumn look. Each month Stampin’ Up! releases 2 new kits in our Kit Collection online. I’ll share both here with you. I expect these to sell out quickly. They will be re-ordered but then you have to wait!

First is the Adventure Awaits kit. Retro cards with fun retro vehicles! It’s always great to have cards on hand for the guys too right?

Each year in the fall I de-stash my supplies by offering mystery boxes to my customers. Each box is filled with over $200 in retired Stampin’ Up! products and each box is different!

How do you get one? All it takes is an online order of $125 & above (before tax/shipping). I’ll even pay to ship the box to you! Go here to order.

Each box includes at least 2 bundles (stamps with dies or a punch), two or more stamp sets, more dies or embossing folders, a 6″ DSP share, embellishments, ribbon, ephemera, a card kit and a hand stamped card from me.
