Awesome fundraiser last weekend!

Last Saturday we held a big fundraiser for two of my favorite local charitable organizations here in Minot, ND. It was an amazing success because of the many donations & volunteers.

I kept feeling a nudge to do this and I knew my friends & community would join in. I was thrilled with the many people that helped pull it off.

We raised over $3400 in sales towards these charitable organizations. Woo hoo!

We focused on baked and craft items at our sale hoping to help people with their Holiday baking & gift giving. A local church offered us their Parish Hall to hold it. Here are some pictures of our goods.

We had an amazing group of donations. We were asked by many if we would do it again next year; and I sure hope we can!

Here's a little information on these two organizations:

Hairball Haven is a local feline rescue that takes in homeless kittens and cats, provide veterinary care, immunizations, spays or neuters and houses them until they find new, loving homes. They currently have over 100 in house & in foster homes. An average vet bill is $20,000. They're amazing and I'm so happy to help support them. My granddaughter Eliza loves to volunteer there when she's in town. Here's a link to their FB page and donation link.

Matthew 25 Project is the other wonderful organization we donated to. They are a nonprofit that seeks to match gifts of clothing and household items with those in need in our community at no cost. My friend Melissa started this in Minot and 1000's of people have benefited from their generousity. It's run by volunteers but they do have rent, gas and heat bills. Here's a link to their FB page.

I love this time of year when everyone feels the need to give to others.

I tend to focus on using Designer Paper but sometimes it's just a great layout or a new technique. I share the projects & measurements on Saturdays so you can prep your supplies and stamp right along with me.

Crazy HUGE BOGO & Fundraiser Event; Septemer 29th.

Tuesday, September 29th I'm holding a HUGE Birthday BOGO Sale! (It's my birthday today!) I'm selling 100's of retired Stampin' Up! products at this event. I don't save any of my retired items and have to clear it all out to make room for new! *I've vowed to myself I won't store anything outside of my studio.

I may be able to offer some extras to long distance customers after the event. There's just too much to list until some is sold.
