April’s Paper Pumpkin is ‘Delicate Wings’ and looks amazing

I thought I'd share some sneak peaks of upcoming Paper Pumpkin kits.

April's kit is called Delicate Wings

Did you know that you are in charge of which kits you receive?  Once you purchase a pre-paid subscription or subscribe you can opt out of any kit you do not want. Stampin' Up! shares what's coming up each month so you can decide if you want it or not.  You have complete control!

You're also eligible to purchase any of the refill kits or add-on's SU offers. See them all here.

*Plus when you subscribe with me, LeeAnn Greff, you'll qualify for a FREE tutorial each month.

  • This tutorial PDF is filled with 10 or more alternate ideas for additional projects you can make with each month's kit (includes photos & instructions) – making your kit go a lot further!  *see example photo below

Here is more info on how Paper Pumpkin works:

A MONTHLY CRAFTING SUBSCRIPTION

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A CRAFT BOX

One issue crafters often run into is feeling overwhelmed by their project. Lack of inspiration, proper supplies and crafty know-how might discourage you from even starting a project and unlocking your creative potential!

This never happens with a craft subscription box from Paper Pumpkin. That’s because everything you need for your project is included in your monthly art box. All you have to do is open it up and get started. You’ll be able to make cards, treat bags, gift boxes and so much more with your monthly art box subscription.

BUILD YOUR STAMP COLLECTION

Among the items in each Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kit is a reusable rubber stamp. So after you’re done creating your monthly craft, you’ll have a valuable stamp to add to your collection. You even get a free clear stamping block with your first craft box. Plus, you get a different color ink pad every month as well.

PRINT & VIDEO INSTRUCTION MAKE CRAFTING EASY

Even the craftiest among us worry that we’ll have trouble understanding how to do a project, or that we’ll make a mistake. You never have to worry about that with Paper Pumpkin! That’s because not only does each monthly arts and crafts box come with clear, easy-to-understand printed instructions, but we also upload a video to YouTube so you can watch a professional guide you through the craft.

  • Latte Love Book Binding Z-fold with free project sheet

I am in love with this fun fold!  I call it a 'Book-binding' Z fold card.

This one is made with the A Little Latte designer paper seen here.  It's part of our huge bunch of Online Exclusive products.

The card starts out at 11" X 4 1/4" with two score lines (see the measurements in the free project sheet below). Then you add a second layer to the front flap to create this unique but easy fold.

I'm surprised this trendy designer paper hasn't sold out yet!

Below you can see both versions of this card we made at my March card clubs.

The coffee cups were fussy cut from the designer paper.  The stamps on the left are from the Latte Love bundle seen here.  The tag on front is from the Tailored Tags dies seen here.  I use these all of the time!

I created a free project sheet you can download or print. These project sheets are so handy to have in an idea binder or folder. Download March 24 Club A Little Latte book binding

If you own this fun designer paper you might like my PDF tutorial for 5 more card designs on my Tutorial Shop here.

  • Retiring items on the Last Chance list & info on discontinued items & price changes

Today I'm sharing lots of information on the upcoming Annual Catalog plus the retiring items.

The new Annual Catalog goes live on May 1st. The current Annual & Spring Catalogs retire April 30th.

These retiring items are now while supplies last. Some items are discounted but the discounts do not start until April 9th.

However I wanted you to have the list beforehand because some of these products will already be gone once the list goes live.  So now is your chance to get the items on your 'gotta have it' list.

Click here for the Annual Catalog last chance list PDF. Here's the Annual Catalog list in Excel format

Click here  for the Spring Catalog last chance list PDF.

I thought I'd mention a few items from the Annual catalog that I am surprised are retiring & will dearly miss:

    • Vanilla Envelopes & Vanilla Thick card stock
    • Vellum card stock
    • Double Oval punch – a big favorite!
    • Basic Border dies
    • Scalloped Contour dies

Please remember to grab any of the In Color items that are retiring. This set of colors was a favorite of many. These could run out of stock at any time.

We all dislike seeing price increases.  But like everything else these days some prices are going up in the new Annual Catalog. Costs are rising everywhere and Stampin' Up! has to raise there's to stay solvent. There are many companies that are struggling or closing and I'm happy to say that SU is still in good shape and in no danger of closing. I'm so glad they are proactive!

Below is a list of items where prices are increasing.  I tell you this now so you can stock up while the prices are lower.  Remember to use the host code links below when ordering.

  • A striking technique with the Naturally Gilded specialty paper; with video & free project sheet!

I shared how to make this card on last week's video. It features the Naturally Gilded designer paper seen here.

This pretty paper has a white background and Silver, Gold or Copper foil patterns. You can see it in the Online Exclusives while supplies last.

I decided to do a direct to paper resist technique and change the White background to Black.  You can do this technique on any foil printed designer paper. The foil resists the ink so you can wipe it off once the background is saturated.

I used a Black Memento ink pad which is water-based. You can use any water-based ink but not Stazon. Stazon ink would cover the foil patterns.

How did I do it?  I had my paper laying face up and rubbed or tapped my Memento ink pad all over the specialty paper. Once you're done adding ink simply wipe the ink off the foil prints with a tissue or paper towel.

I created a free project sheet for these cards; you can download or print it here: Download Naturally Gilded Ink Resist technique

*Below is the video where I shared this technique.  I also shared my new Annual Catalog products and lots of amazing swaps too.  Be sure to follow me on YouTube here.
