I thought the Friendly Silhouettes cat tails/grass die-cut would work well with this set.  See the little ladybugs behind the grass?  I did trim off the 'cattails' so it's just grass here.

  • Granny Apple Green main card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
  • White layer is 3 7/8" X 5 1/8"
  • Black is 4" X 5 1/4"
  • Images are colored in with Blends markers in Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Real Red and Seaside Spray
  • The greeting is from the Little Ladybug's stamp set too; punched with the Classic Label punch

  • Fabulous fun fold card with the Fluffy Squirrel bundle

    I hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving weekend. We are spending it with my kids, eating, playing games and visiting more family.

    I am proud to share Candy’s swap card with you. It’s for our ‘foil’ themed November Team swap. She featured the Fluffy Squirrel bundle seen here.

    There are so many things that absolutely make this card a winner! She did case it from Ruth’s Stamping Corner.
    First of all the Need for Tweed designer series paper; how perfect! Then there’s the cute acorns that are included in the punch! Then the Earthen Toned foil paper circle – punched with our 2 3/8″ circle punch. And what about that neat fold she created!

    It’s basically a book-binding card fold but with a twist. She is great about sending me her Measurements:
    – Lost Lagoon 11″ X 4 1/4″ score on long side at 2 1/8″, 4 1/4″ & 5 1/2″, 2nd piece is 3 1/4″ X 4 1/4″
    – Vanilla – 2″ X 4″ and her sentiment is 3″ X 7/8″
    – Need for Tweed – 3″ X 4″, 1″ X 4″ & 2″ X 4″

  • A stunning Holiday card with free project sheet & video tutorial

    Here’s the other card I made on last week’s video. I loved playing with the Joyful Tidings stamp set seen here; it’s just my style!

    My colors include White, Basic Beige & Gold. Soft, pretty & classy.

    Here are the products I used:

    – Gathering Together designer series paper
    – Gold Striped ribbon
    – Low-profile dots (now retired)
    – Gold heat embossing powder
    – Creative Haven dies seen here for the leaf die-cuts

    You can also watch the video tutorial below. I shared a neat trick to place the leaf die-cuts on the greeting circle element. Press & Seal wrap saves a ton of time!
