GONE FISHING BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

She was our Artist of the Month for June and chose this special bundle; so unique and perfect for the fishermen (and fisherwomen!).  See the Gone Fishing bundle here.

This first card is filled with layers and details – well all of them are really!

Gone Fishing 2 Save

The colors include Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Pebbled Path.  She added Wink of Stella to the fish, and bobbin.  That fish is gorgeous. I love the wavy cut DSP at the top and her sponged sky.  And did you notice the rhinestone 'bubbles'?

Below is the inside of this card; she always adds details to her card inside layer.

Next is a fun fold card where the center panel lifts up.  It's adhered to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" layer.

Gone Fishing 5 Save

Her colors include Pebbled Path and Misty Moonlight with a bit of Vanilla and Boho Blue.

The folded panel is 3" wide X 8" tall and scored at 4". The DSP is 5 1/4" X 4" in the back and the front panel is 2 3/4" X 3 3/4"

Next is a neat card featuring the Spiral Dye. She stamped it twice; once in Pool Party and once in Lost Lagoon.

The Stitched die-cuts are from the Stylish Shapes dies. Notice that shiny paper banner?  That is the new Holographic Trio specialty paper on page 127 of the Annual Catalog.

I'll share more of her amazing projects tomorrow.  Don't miss the next set!

Natural Prints dies for the greeting and the Countryside Corners dies for the Misty Moonlight & Berry Burst die-cuts, the Basics 3D (online exclusive) and Cane Weave 3D folders

  • Neat Fun Fold swaps by my Flowerbug’s Team

Our Team gathering and swap was this past weekend and our theme was to use designer paper.

This first card was made by Marla and features the Countryside Inn DSP.

    June Marla Countryside Inn Save
It looks like an ordinary gatefold card, but it's not!  It latches closed with the heart & leaf punches on the right side!

    Measurements are as follows:

    • Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 3" and 8 1/2"
    • Designer paper is 2 3/4" X 4" on the left and 2 1/4" X 4" on the right.  *same on the inside

    June Marla Countryside Inn Save

It's hard to tell in the photo but the top right corner of the large, layered die-cut catches under the punched pieces on the upper right of the card base.  So cool and smart!  I love it when a fun fold card stays closed easily.

She featured the Countryside Inn designer paper seen here.  If you love blues, you need this pretty paper! And it's on sale in June – down from $12.50 to $10.62 now.

She also added more of the pretty paper inside her card.

    June Marla Countryside Corners Save

Next is a sweet card by Candy – (see what I did there?)  She featured the Zoo Crew designer paper and Zany Zoo bundle. She colored each of those flowers with a Blends marker!

    June Candy Zany Zoo Save

    It's a 'book-binding' card fold.  Start out with a 4 1/4" X 11" card base; score at 4 1/4" & 5 1/2". You'll adhere the 'binding' area down so the card opens at the 4 1/4" score line.

Her coloring is beautiful; I believe she used Blends markers.

The embossing folder is the Countryside Blossoms and the stitched circles and banner are from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I'll share more team swaps tomorrow!

Here is another fun fold card I made on last week's Tuesday video.  If you'd like to watch me live, join me on Tuesday's at 11 am CT here on Facebook or see them later on my YouTube channel here.

This card features the Delightfully Eclectic designer paper and a favorite card theme of 'Black & White with a pop of color'.

    Delightfully Eclectic fun fold Save

The pretty floral paper sheet in the Delightfully Eclectic DSP chose the color theme.  I fussy cut one of the flowers from the designer paper to add to my stitched circle die-cut.  I mimicked the dots in the DSP and used the Dots & Spots die on a piece of the Fresh Freesia card stock.

This Delightfully Eclectic designer paper is on sale now in June.  See it here.

The measurements are listed in the photo below.

Here are all three of the cards I share in the video. Scroll down a bit or watch it here.

Here's the link to see a recent video featuring this card.  I also make two other cards made with the Delightfully Eclectic designer paper.
