Accordion Style Fun-Fold card with video

Here's another easy fun fold card that shows off all sides of your designer series paper.  And uses up thin strips too!

I made them during my weekly 'Stamp With Me' Facebook Live last week.

I chose to use the Brights 6 X 6" designer paper pack and the Many Mates stamp set.

Aren't they fun?  The back is flat and does not open.  You could include a full card base on it instead of a flat piece if you'd like.  I will write or sign the inside on the larger White part.

You might notice there are dots around some of the punched pieces.  I used my Blends markers to add that fun detail.  I also colored in some of the words on the greetings too.  This stamp set is fun!

When you adhere the greeting on the front add adhesive to just the very top flap.

Measurements:
Card base: 5 1/2" X 4 1/4"
next layer 5 1/4" X 4", textured
White accordion fold 4 1/4" X 9" scored at 1", 2", 4" and 6"
Designer paper – 3 pieces 4" tall. 3/4", 1 1/4" and 2 3/4"

Supplies:
Stamps – Many Mates
Ink – Gorgeous Grape, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Black Memento
Card stock – Brights DSP, Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Black
Punches – Tailored Tag, Label Me Lovely, 2" circle, Lovely You Pick a Punch, Banner Triple
Other – Blends markers, rhinestone jewels, Dimensionals

  • Neat Diagonal Z-fold with Balloon Festoon; free project sheet too!

I created this card for my May Team swap; the theme was to use new Summer catalog products.

The Balloon Festoon bundle is a new favorite of mine. The multiple sizes of balloon dies are just wonderful and perfect for any celebratory event. See it here.

I used the 12 X 12 Pool Party 2-tones card stock for the diagonal layer. It’s 12″ X 5 1/4″ scored every 4″. Then simply cut at an angle from the lower left to the upper second score line.

The cute patterned balloons are cut from the new Beautiful Ordinary Life designer paper (seen here) and the new 2026-28 In Color Patterns DSP. See it here.

I created a free project sheet for you; click here to print or download it.

Below is the video where I shared this card and another featuring the same products.

  • Balloon Festoon surprise slider card with video tutorial

I shared this CUTE card on last week’s Live video. We made it at my May card clubs:

It features the Balloon Festoon bundle seen here and the Beautiful Ordinary Life designer series paper. Both are in the 2026 May – August catalog by Stampin’ Up! They pair up wonderfully together!

It might look like a simple fun fold card but look how it opens:

The inside greeting layer slides out when you open the front of the card. It’s super easy! Watch the video below to see my tips & tricks on this card fold.

My colors include Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, White & Daffodil Delight. I used the colors in the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP as a guide.

Here’s the free project sheet for this card; click here. Feel free to download it to print or save in your files for later.

Below is the video tutorial; I hope you watch it! There’s a second card I share as well; I’ll feature that project in tomorrow’s post.
