A neat Tower card with video & free project sheet with Peaceful Garden

I just love this fun fold ‘tower’ card layout! It gives you lots of opportunities to feature your designer paper.

I featured the Peace on Earth bundle and the Modern Garden designer paper. The colors include White, Secret Sea and Silver. The Peace on Earth bundle was a ‘must have’ for me because of the pretty greetings and layering die-cuts. I like that the greetings include more than just Christmas making it quite versatile.

This Tower card fun fold is made with a 11″ X 4 1/4″ piece of card stock but scored 5 times across the long edge. Then you simply adhere the ends together and allow the other end to open. Genius!

Note how the center panel swivels a bit…. I stamped one card with a holiday greeting and the other with a sympathy greeting. You can see the back side of the Holiday card here. I pulled out a Paper Pumpkin stamp set to fit.

I love the textured embossing on the left White panel. That is from the Peaceful Greenery embossing folder seen here. I used just the side of this folder to achieve the textured edge.

Here’s the tip on how the front panel swivels a bit on the fold. So easy to achieve!

It’s two strips of card stock about 1/2″ wide and 1″ long folded in half. Each half is adhered with the fold on the main card fold.

I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps. Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate. Here DSP is 4" X 3".

Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.

She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center. What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!

I believe her colors are Real Red, Garden Green & Blackberry Bliss. The greeting is from the Merriest Moments. The corner accents are from the Detailed Trio punch. I love her itty bitty bow!

Here are two more cards made by my talented Flowerbugs! Both used the Expressions in Ink suite.

Candace made this first one using a nice piece of the beautiful Expressions in Ink specialty DSP. She stamped her greeting and leaves directly onto the DSP using Evening Evergreen ink.

Then she stamped the large flower on a separate piece of White CS and die-cut it out using the Artistic Dies. Lovely!

Tracey made this one using just the Artistically Inked stamp set. She stamped all of her images on the White CS and added that to a layer of textured White CS. She used the Timber 3D embossing folder.

You can see she added a bit of sponging to the embossed layer to really bring out the texture.

What’s Cookin’ & All For Baby card ideas

Today I'm sharing two cards made by sisters on my Flowerbugs Team. They're so talented and I love to see what they make for our swaps.

First is an amazing card made by Jonna. She used the What's Cookin' bundle seen here. I LOVE her colors and how she created a tablecloth from the patterned paper by placing it on an angle.

She stamped & die-cut the cooking elements and added it to the 'table'. The White background is textured with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

The greeting is stamped and punched out with the Everyday Label punch. It's neat how she used it vertically instead of the usual way.

Next is a sweet baby card made by Jacki featuring the All for Baby bundle seen here. Her colors are Just Jade & Basic White. The baby outfit is stamped in Just Jade ink and die-cut; then added with the hanger die-cut. The designer paper is from our In color patterned paper packs – we have 6 sets of these in all of our color families.

That little rhinestone on the hanger is a great addition. I love the simplicity of this card; it really showcases the outfit & greeting.
