4 Season Easel Calendar with video & free project sheet

Today I'm sharing a super special 4-season calendar card. I cased one I made 10 years ago!  We made this at my December card clubs.

I stamped the background with the Sparkling Snowflakes set in Pool Party & Pretty Peacock inks. 

It looks like an ordinary card front doesn't it? It actually is with the exception of the latch I added.

This latch is slipped under the calendar on the inside of the card. The reason why I choose the inside is so it doesn't show on the bottom.  I hope you'll watch the video here or below to see how it's done.  

For the Spring season I used the Spotlight on Nature stamp set and colored with Blends markers.

My smart husband created the calendar for this project.  You can access the 2025 calendar here.  And the  2026 Calendar here *However you will need to scale your printer to 90% instead of the usual 100%. *please don't ask me how to do this; each printer is different. 

For the Summer season I used the Round we Go set in Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon and Petunia Pop inks.

For the last season I chose to use a layer of designer series paper (Nests of Winter).  In hindsight I could have used DSP on every season.  It would save a ton of time if you're making a bunch at a time.

  • Beautiful Floral card kit to go; or choose the tutorial option. While supplies last

    The Violet Dreams designer paper is the star of these pretty cards for my August card kit to go. If you love purple this kit is for you!

    All but one card of the 5 designs are fun fold layouts. This floral themed designer paper includes a sheet of pre-cut ephemera which makes creating a breeze. I added the Fresh Freesia ribbon and rhinestone gems and include them in the kit to go.

    I design my card kits specifically to make them easy to finish; you need a few inks and stamped greetings. You will need to cut your new designer paper using my tutorial as a guide. Everything else is pre-cut for you; perfect for easy crafting!

  • Check out this neat Botanical Expressions fun fold card

    I shared this pretty card on last week’s Live video. It features a new die from the Online store called Botanical Expressions:

    You can see a glimpse of the die in the photo above. It cuts the leaves out but not the edge, so you can make the leaf element as wide as you’d like. See this die here.

    My colors include White with Peaceful Pine. The designer paper is the Moonlit Flora DSP seen here. The greeting tag is from the Scalloped Blooms dies. I’ve been using the greeting tags in this set of dies a lot.

  • Another sample using DSP strips; the pretty Velvet Meadow DSP

    I shared a card using a strips technique a few days ago and wanted to share the card that inspired it today.

    Here are the products I used: Velvet Meadow DSP, Bubble Bath, Berry Burst & Peaceful Pine CS. The greeting is from the Flowering Meadow stamp set and the scalloped tags are from the Scalloped Blooms dies seen here.

    When using up your strips you can adhere them diagonally across your card stock, leaving a small space between each. Once this CS is filled in, trim off the excess on the edges.

    The Velvet Meadow specialty paper has a fuzzy, flocked feel to the flowers and some leaves. It’s luxurious! Check it out here.
    I fussy cut the flower and leaves to add to the greeting.
