3rd set of WOW Masculine swap cards by my Team!

I have another set of incredible swap cards made by my Flowerbug's Team.  Our theme in July was masculine cards and the cards are out of this world creative!  I'm sharing a bunch each day this week.

First up is a card made by Candace.  She really went outside the box with her background strip idea.  The various widths & lengths of strips are a clever & unique way to set up her aquatic scene.

She used the 'Whale Done' stamp set and the coordinating Whale punch.  That neat 'seaweed' is from the Delicate Edges dies seen here.

Her colors are unique but sure work well together!  They are Soft Sea Foam, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent & Orchid Oasis.  Great job!!

Next is Becky's fun 'sailboat' card.  She used the Let's Set Sail Bundle seen here.

Her colors are Night of Navy, Parakeet Party & Sahara Sand.  The DSP is from the Sun Prints.  It's a fancy fold too!

Notice her clouds on the background?  She used the Friends are Like Seashells stamps for those!  So clever!

Measurements:

  • The card base is 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2".
  • The long strip is 1 1/2" X 11" scored at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" & 8 1/4" and is adhered only at the two end pieces.
  • The squares are 1 3/4" & 2" in size.

Next is a wonderful card made by Monica.  She used the Dragonfly Garden stamp set & coordinating Dragonflies punch.

Details:

  • Her colors include Soft Suede, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen.  She textured the various strips using the new Painted Posies 3D embossing folder.
  • The strips are all 4 3/4" long but vary in width from 5/8" – 1 1/4" all adhered to a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of White CS.  Again, strips to the rescue for a unique background idea; perfect for men.
  • The greeting die-cuts are from the Stitched Rectangle dies.
  • The dragonfly is stamped on Vellum and punched out. But she stamped it again on a piece of the Texture Chic specialty DSP for the center.  So it has gold details on it!

Stay tuned for more masculine card ideas tomorrow and all this week!

  • Three pretty swap cards with great layouts

Our Team swap theme was nature or animals this month. I’m sharing three pretty cards I think you’ll want to case.

First is a card made by Jonna who is featuring the Nature’s Symphony suite.

She used the Nature’s Symphony stamp set and the Nature’s Walk designer paper here. I love the layout so much! Adding your greeting strip across the front is a fantastic way to break up the large layers.
Her colors include Pretty Peacock and White.

    Measurements are as follows:

    – Cloud Cover card base 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
    – Pretty Peacock large layer 5 3/8″ X 4 3/8″, small layer 3″ X 4 1/4″, strip 4 1/8″ X 1″, inside is 4 1/8″ X 5 3/8″
    – White 2 3/4″ X 4″, inside 4″ X 5 1/4″
    – DSP 4″ X 5 1/4″

Inks used: Pretty Peacock and White Craft ink.

The next card is made by Tracey who used a new to me’ tearing technique on her pretty card:

She used the Floral Charm designer paper. Actually it’s just one sheet and measured 3″ X 4″ before she tore it. The technique she used is called ‘Rip & Flip’. You tear the lower half off and flip it to reveal the other side. Slide the torn piece under the upper portion to hide the ‘cut’ side. So cool!

Look at the ribbon above the greeting circle. She formed loops of Berry Burst 1/4″ shiny ribbon and adhered it underneath the flowers and greeting. So smart and unique!
The colored and die-cut flowers are from the Extraordinary Flora bundle seen here.

    Measurements:

    – Pretty Peacock card base 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
    – Berry Burst 4 1/4″ X 3 1/4″
    – DSP 4″ X 3″
    – White circle die-cut

Lastly is Candy’s card featuring the Nature’s Symphony stamp set with a neat technique:

She cased this technique from Kim Quade. She created a window with the Stylish Shapes dies and another piece of paper. She used Blending Brushes inside the window for the soft, multicolored look and stamped the leaves before removing her mask.

Her ink colors include Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Fresh Freesia. She stamped the images with Secret Sea. Beautifully done!

I’ll share more swap cards tomorrow.

  • New Catalog Open House & BOGO is Saturday! NEW product shares are up!

I hold an Open House event with each new catalog release by Stampin’ Up! It’s a wonderful time to gather my friends and customers together and to get the new catalog in their hands. They’re always excited about these because I make a BIG DEAL over the event.

I love to show off our new products with displays and samples. I gather door prizes, free cards to give with orders, door prizes and an array of yummy food.

It’s Saturday at my home studio from 11:30 – 1:30 pm and will include a BOGO this time.

It shocks most people when they hear this, but I do not keep any of my Stampin’ Up! products from year to year. I just don’t have time to use it. So I price my retired products and put them in my garage for the sale. For each dollar you spend on my retired products you can pick out NEW items for free! Basically they are getting either one for FREE. It’s a wonderful deal for them and I can clear out my stash to make room for more. Win, win!!

If you’re near me in Minot, ND I hope you’ll come to the event. Even though I hold multiple card clubs each month I have lots of customers I only see a few times a year. It’s so neat to watch my gals gather together & catch up. I love it!

I’m also offering my Designer Paper and Embellishment shares to locals and long distance customers!

I know many who like to get a sampling of everything so they know what they want to order more of. It’s a great way to go. There’s nothing like seeing the new products in person!

  • A set of fun fold cards with NEW designer paper! Free project sheet & video too

Yesterday I shared one of these fun fold cards and today I’ll share the other two. All feature the brand new Artisan Sketched Garden designer paper. It’s coming out on May 5th in the May-August catalog from Stampin’ Up!

I shared the top card yesterday and today I’ll share the lower two.

First is this SUPER easy fun fold card. It’s a great way to use your DSP up. The front layer is 3″ X 4″; perfect for 12 X 12″ DSP.

I chose to use two of the retiring 2024-26 In Colors for this one. Summer Splash and Pretty in Pink with Black & White. This Artisan Sketched Garden DSP is all Black & White but I colored the flowers and leaves in with Blends markers. The greeting image is from the Greetings for all Ephemera pack seen here. It’s one of my very favorite greeting packs and it’s carrying over too! The Black punched piece is from the Heartfelt Hexagon punch. Sadly it just retired and is not out of stock.

The inside White layer hides the end of the scored Pink flap. It’s a really neat and simple fun fold card. Click here to access the free project sheet.

And here is the last card in this trio of fun fold cards featuring the new Artistic Sketched Garden DSP. It’s another side flap card:

My colors include Lemon Lime Twist, Blueberry Bushel with White. The scored side flap flips to the right and has the diagonal squares with the greetings attached. The greeting is part of the Greetings for All Ephemera pack again; added to the Labeled with Love punched piece. This is retiring now and available here while supplies last.

    Here’s how it opens:
