3 ways to use the Layered Floral on one card!

I shared this pretty textured card on last week's FB live video:

The textured card stock is Fresh Freesia. I used a Blending Brush with Blackberry Bliss ink to highlight the gorgeous texture. The Layered Floral 3D embossing folder is amazing; it has super deep texture!

I made a second card during the video with another rich color combination of Night of Navy with Boho Blue. Note the different ways I added vellum to these two cards.

Also note the pretty texture added to the envelope flap; why don't we do this more often!?

Here are the 3 ways I featured this pretty Layered Floral 3D embossing folder:

Textured, then added ink with a Blending Brush.
I textured the envelope flap and add a very light ink, again with a Blending Brush.
Cut out a large flower from a separate piece of textured card stock; and I punched a smaller flower using the Petal Park Builder punch – yes it coordinates!!

Pleased as Punch fun fold card

I made this card for a recent online swap I participated in. I believe this type of fold is called a 'Joy Fold' card.

The Pool Party piece is folded in half; the bottom part is under the front flap of the White layer. See measurements below.

I chose to use the brand new Pleased as Punch designer paper seen here. It coordinates with FOUR of our current punches – amazing! The two hearts on this card are punched directly from the designer paper.

I love it so much I am featuring it for my February card kit to go. I'll share that with you tomorrow.

Details:
- The hearts are punched from the DSP with the Heart Punch Pack
- The ribbon is the White seam binding on page 25 of the January – June Mini catalog
- the sequins are from the free SAB Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins combo pack seen here
- the embossing folder is the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder seen here
Measurements:
- White – 4 1/4" X 8 1/2" scored at 5 1/2"
- Pool Party 3" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
- So Saffron 2 1/4" X 3 1/2"
- Pleased as Punch DSP 1/4" X 3 1/2"

Lovely Lily Pad Wow Card

Look at this gorgeous card Candace made for our last Flowerbug's Team card swap. She's a fabulous card designer!

She used the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and the Lily Pad dies for this card. She colored the stamped lily with Wink of Stella. Did you know that if you stamp in our Classic ink you can just blend the colors without adding more ink? Super easy; especially with a nice outline image like this one.

Her colors here are Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay with White and Olive accents.
