See 2 ways to use the new ‘Crafting with You’ bundle in my video

On my weekly Live video I shared two, well actually three ways to use the incredible Crafting with You bundle seen here from Stampin' Up!  It's new in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  Here's one of them:

Crafting with you Bubble bath Save

It's perfect for the seamstress or quilter. I couldn't resist making a card featuring some of our frequently used tools – like the paper trimmer and die-cutting machine….

Crafting with You Azure Save

This set has so many options for crafters! It has an easel & paint brushes, yarn, embroidery hoop, sewing machine, paper crafting etc.  It's loaded!

Crafting with you both Live Save

These cards feature TWO of our newest colors in our color families.  Left is Bubble Bath and right is Azure Afternoon.  I used Smoky Slate, White, Black and a bit of silver on my cards.

I stamped my large white layer with the same ink as the card base and because it was a little busy I added a layer of vellum over it.  Then a stamp of Bright & Beautiful DSP before I added the textured 3" circle.  The circle also helps tone down the busy background.

A few neat tips on this card: there are two different baskets you can add items to including the yarn, paint brushes, spools of thread or even flowers.

I show how to make the scissors in the video.  You need to cut out two; one in black and one in silver.  Trim off the silver ends and add them over the full, black scissor die-cuts.

For the paper crafting card I stamped the greeting on a strip of White cardstock and inserted it into the paper trimmer.  Love that the die-cut leaves this option for us.  The black 'knob' on my trimmer cuts out separately so you can add it in place as you like.  They thought of everything on this set!!

  • Beautiful cards with the new Perched in a Tree bundle!

    This bundle was one of my first purchases from the new 2022 Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog.  I love this birch tree die-cut and made a bunch of these cards for an online swap last month.

    Perched in a tree swap Save

    It creates a pretty window of birch trees that can be the star of the card.  I simply sponged a bit of Crumb Cake ink over a few areas and added it to a Pool Party layer. The greeting is also from this bundle and is stamped on a die-cut from the All That dies in the Annual catalog. The angled Soft Suede die-cut behind it is also from the Aspen dies in this bundle.

    My friend Susie Wood sent me this gorgeous card last week.  She created a fall themed card with Crumb Cake & Cajun Craze.  I LOVE her multicolored leaf! She inked it in a lighter color and sponged Cajun Craze over the upper edges before stamping and fussy cutting it. It and the greeting are both from the Soft Seedlings stamp set seen here.

    I hope you enjoyed seeing two totally different projects with this pretty bundle!

  • Last of the Men’s card series today!

    Have you been enjoying my week of 'masculine' cards?  With today's cards I've shared 16 ideas for the men in our lives!  If you haven't seen them all you have a few options.  Click on each of the links below.

    If you're reading these in an email you're not seeing the entire blog and cannot see the following posts.  Be sure to click on the heading of this post to get to my actual blog and scroll backwards.  These swaps have been so special & incredibly creative!!

    The first card today is made by Ginny.  She used our new Masking Paper to create the neat background stripes!

    July ginny He's the Man Save

    Her colors are Soft Succulent, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso & Calypso Coral.  She used the 'He's All That' bundle seen here for her stamps & dies.  I love how she die-cut the neat detail dies from her sponged paper!

    ~~~
    This next striking card was made by Marla.  She used the new Ringed with Nature bundle seen here.  It's in our new Holiday catalog and comes with a Tree Rings embossing folder.
    July Marla Ringed with Nature Save
    I absolutely love that she used a pop of Poppy Parade cards tock here.  We tend to use muted colors for guys, but many of them love color like women tend to.
    Her colors include Poppy Parade, Soft Suede, Mint Macaron & White.  I wish you could feel the texture she achieved on her stamped tree ring! And aren't those mushrooms adorable?!
    Next is a super layered card made by Brenda using the He's the Man suite.  See it all here online.
    July Brenda He's the Man Save
    Her card was inspired by Brian King; her colors by the camping themed sheet in the He's the Man DSP.  She has Early Espresso, Soft Succulent, Crumb Cake & White on her card.
    I certainly hope you've been inspired by the 16 manly cards I've shared with you this week. My Flowerbug's Team is SUPER talented!
    Remember if you'd like to be a part of my Team you can choose to purchase the Starter Kit which is always a great deal!  Our group is growing; we have people from across the country and would love to have you join us.
    It's a $99 order and you can choose $125 in products of your choice.  Then you get a 20% discount on all of your Stampin' Up! purchases and can take part in my Team swaps, challenges, online groups & more!  Of course it's all optional; many of my Team members are simply savvy shoppers; enjoying the discount but not holding classes or actively selling.  You can do it YOUR way!
