Fabulous 1 sheet box for A2 cards with a free project sheet & video too!

I shared the coolest box on last week's video. It is made from 1 sheet of designer paper! 

Sunny Days cards & box Save

It fits six A2 sized cards and envelopes inside. It's the perfect way to gift cards to someone. 

I used the Sunny Days Sale-a-Bration paper for the box and the cards too.  Of course Sale-a-Bration is now over but hopefully you ordered this beautiful paper.  If not you can substitute any other designer paper.

Each of the cards are an easy fun fold layout.  I'll share measurements here too but they are included in the project sheet too.

This first one is a fun version of a book-binding card fold. Just add one more piece of card stock and you have a whole new card layout! 

Petal Pink cards Save

Measurements: Petal Pink card 11" X 4 1/4" score at 2 1/8", 4 1/4" & 5 1/2". 2nd piece is 3 1/4" X 4", White inside 2" X 4". DSP – large panel is 3" X 4", left is 1" X 4" & right is 2" X 4"

This next card has the designer paper as the card front; attached to the front flap. Love this and how you can see both sides of our pretty paper!

Poppy Parade card Save

Measurements: Poppy Parade card 5 1/4" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4". DSP – 1 piece at 3/4" X 5 1/2", 1 piece at 4" X 5 1/2". Petal Pink CS is 4" X 1"

This is a great fold that uses the trimmed off card base as the front panel. Love this one!!

Pool Party cards Save

See how I decorated my envelopes to match the cards!  This really elevates your projects and makes them extra special. 

Measurements: Pool Party cards – 11" X 4 1/4" score at 5 1/2"; cut off one end at 2 3/4". DSP 1 piece at 2" X 4", 2nd piece at 4" X 3"

  • New: Vine Design Dutch Door fold card

    I made several cards for online swaps featuring products in the upcoming 2021 Spring & Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This pretty fun fold card was one of them.  I gravitate towards anything with leaves or vines so I knew I'd like this set called Vine Design.  

    Vine Design Olive Save

    The colors here are Night of Navy, Seaside Spray & Old Olive with White. I used my Stamparatus for the vine image; it's so perfect for multiple cards!  Perfect inking and placement each time. 

    See that greeting & layered ovals?  We have a new   DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH!!!  I'm so excited about this one.  I've missed out oval punches so much and now both are in one!

    Supplies:

    • Stamps – Vine  Design (2021 Spring Catalog)
    • Ink – Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray
    • CS -  Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray, Whisper White
    • Other – Double Oval Punch, Detailed Trio Punch, Well Suited Twine combo pack, Rhinestones, dimensionals, Mini glue dots

  • Retro Circles layout with a quick video. So unique & versatile!

    I hope you had a nice Christmas weekend!  We sure did.  It's one of my favorite times of the year; one time where all of my kids are home and we're all together. 

    Here's another card we made at my December card clubs.  It was such a hit on Facebook Live Stamp with Me that I had to do it at Club too.  It's a great way to show off your designer paper with this retro style.  Scroll down to see the video. 

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    You just need three circles of different sizes.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies so they have the extra detail of stitches on the edges.  I use these dies so much!  If you don't have them I highly recommend them. See them here. 

    I used the Brightly Gleaming specialty DSP here and instead of the copper foiled side I used the other side which has Navy, Mossy Meadow & Island Indigo.

    The stamped images are from the Itty Bitty Birthday & Lots to Celebrate stamp sets.  Just one ink color; Night of Navy.

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    The above cards were made with various designer papers & stamp sets.  The top is Classic Christmas, left is Heartwarming Hugs and right is Snowflake Splendor. 

    Measurements:

    • Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Neutral (White or Vanilla) is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Greeting strip is 1/2" X 5" 
    • Circles are the largest three stitched circle dies 1 3/4", 2 3/8" & 2 7/8"

  • Let it Snow?! Are you having a White Christmas?

    Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Holiday today and that you are able to spend time with some of your favorite people. This year is so unusual and difficult for many who are isolated.  I wish you the best and thank you for your support this past year.  

    We did just get snow this week; very unusual for us in North Dakota!  So it's a white Christmas after all.  

    Here are two of my favorite wintery cards featuring my Life is Beautiful stamp set.

    Snowman Save

    The card above is Seaside Spray with Black & White.  The stamp set is Snowman Season in the Annual Catalog. 

    Snowflake Splendor card Save

    This card is made with the Snowflake Splendor designer paper.  Ink colors are black, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather. The DSP is retiring in a week or so and it's on sale here. 

    Snowman Save

    This card is very similar to the one above only made with Early Espresso & Balmy Blue.
