Wildflower Birthday Fun-fold card kit to go; or choose the PDF tutorial option

I sure enjoyed creating the projects for this card kit. The pre-cut elements and printed tags in the Wildflower Birthday DSP made it super fun!

The Wildflower Birthday 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper is full of designs that are ready to party! It includes double-sided designs, some with birthday designs, some with all-purpose designs, and some with tags and many gold foil accents too. It also has printed die-cut elements that make for quick crafting.

  • 3 ideas with the Friendly Hello bundle with video & measurements

    I featured the Friendly Hello bundle on last week's Facebook Live. One of the projects is this 'latch fold' card. Click here to get to my page & I hope you'll follow me too. 

    It's normally called a Joy Fold card but I added the flowers on the lower left as a latch to hold it closed.  I like it when a fun fold card stays flat and doesn't pop open on it's own.

    The color combination is Pool Party with Fresh Freesia.  I think it's soft & springy; which we sorely need right now in North Dakota.  It's super color the last few weeks with more snow than I like!

    I stamped the left flap of the card with the double flower image instead of texturing it.  I like the tone on tone stamping.  It adds detail without getting 'busy'.

  • Calming Camelia 2 ways with video!

    I chose a few green/blue tones to stamp the same leaf image – Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green & Just Jade.  After stamping on the 1 3/4" X 2 3/4" White pieces I added texture with the new set of embossing folders called Stripes & Splatters 3D in the new Spring catalog. See them here. I did heat emboss the greetings with White embossing powder also.
