Under My Umbrella Bridge fold card with video

This card was a big hit at my Card Clubs in February.  It's a bridge fold card featuring the Under My Umbrella bundle.  See it here.

To create this card you'll cut your base card short and add another short piece at the bottom. The Daffodil and Balmy Blue layers 'bridge' the base layers.  Really cool.  And I was able to die-cut the Balmy Blue scalloped rectangle from the leftover piece from the middle.  I love using my card stock so perfectly.  *See measurements below.

The Under My Umbrella stamps and punch bundle is just $30.50 for both! It has so MANY cute images and wonderful greetings.  I just love it! We stamped the images in Basic Gray ink and colored them in with Blends markers

  • Balmy Blue 4 1/4" X 6 3/4" scored at 5 1/2", plus a second piece at 1 1/4" X 4 1/4" for the bottom

  • Frames & Flowers card kit to go or choose the PDF tutorial. Limited quantity available!

    I was so excited when I saw the Frames & Flowers designer paper in the new catalog. It has multiple sheets of pre-cut elements that coordinate with the paper.  This makes it so easy to create with as you don't have to stamp or die-cut additional pieces. 

    Here are the pretty cards included in the pre-cut kit for June:

    I design my kits around the paper so all you need to add are stamped greetings. I chose to use the new Simply Said set this time; which you can add on at a discount. I cut everything for you but the designer paper.  The PDF tutorial includes measurements so you can easily accomplish that. 

    Opt in for the card kit to go by June 18th; supplies may be limited. The PDF tutorial will be emailed to you immediately after payment; check your spam folder. The pre-cut kit is mailed at the end of June.

  • Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

    SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

    This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

    The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

    Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

  • Spotlight on Nature unique Z-fold card with video & free project sheet

    I shared this unique & easy fun fold card on last week's Live video.

    It doesn't look like a fun fold card does it?  I featured it at my May Card Clubs.  I love the way the detailed die is popped up on Dimensionals which shows off the die-cut pattern. There's a simply trick to stamp over the die-cut after you cut out the die shape; watch the video to learn how. 

    It features three new In Colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle. The colors include Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock & Peach Pie. I colored in the butterfly & flowers with Pretty in Pink & Peach Pie blends.  Want to know how to do this?  Watch the video here or below. I love combining two colors like this!
