Many of the cards in this kit are fun folds. Remember that everything is pre-cut for you including die-cuts & punched pieces. The only thing you have to cut is your brand new designer paper that's included in the card kit.

Besides a half pack of designer paper you also get shares of three spools of twine and Black Matte dots. The PDF tutorial is free in the kit. It's $28 plus shipping and the kits are mailed out at the end of the month.

Pretty is the word for the Hand Penned suite!

This is one of the first cards I made with the Hand-Penned suite. I chose to use the Soft Succulent card base with Fresh Freesia and So Saffron accents.

That pretty paper is called Hand-Penned Designer Paper seen here on page 131 of the new Annual catalog. It features so many soft, beautiful colors. People are loving it so much I will likely feature it for a kit to go in June.

I used the Painted Labels dies for the neat circle die-cut and the Fresh Freesia scalloped trim is from the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. Click here to see the bundle.

Sweet Ice Cream Fun Fold card with video tutorial

We made this special fun fold card at last month's Card Clubs. See how it latches on the punched ice cream piece?

I used the Sweet Ice Cream bundle and the Ice Cream Corner Designer Paper seen here. This DSP is retiring in June; if you like it get it now while you can. The cones on this card are punched from the designer paper itself. No need to stamp them when the paper is perfect! The card stock is Cinnamon Cider with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive.

You can mix & match the designer papers for a nice variety of cards. I used Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzazz and Cinnamon Cider ink, stamping off first for the solid ice cream images.
