The easy way to make a shaker card!

You may think a shaker card needs foam adhesive strips or a die-cut window.  Not true! 

You can make them easily from clear envelopes!  *did you know we have clear envelopes in our Annual catalog? See them on page 135 or here online.  You get 50 envelopes for just $7.

Just add your paper inside the clear envelope (making sure it fits tightly so the shaker pieces don't move behind), pour in some shaker elements like loose sequins or beads, and seal it up.  It's a super fun card to receive; it's a bit addictive to shake!  

The designer paper is the Walk in the Woods and the stamps are from the More Wishes stamp set; both found in the Holiday catalog. I stamped the greetings on a die-cut from the Nested Essentials dies.

  • Hand-Penned Cards Kit to go!

    I had a few requests to feature the pretty Hand-Penned designer paper for a kit to go.  So I had a play with it and came up with these cards:

    This kit to go includes a 10 cards pre-cut kit with 2 each of 5 designs including many fun-fold cards.  *Opt in by June 18th to get it!

    • the 10 pre-cut cards including all pre-cut, punched & die-cut pieces needed to complete the cards.

  • Pretty Pansy Patch fun fold card with measurements!

    Check out this pretty fun fold card using the Pansy Patch suite:

    The flowers are die-cut from the Pansy Petals designer paper.  Yes; the Pansy dies match the Designer paper perfectly – 2 sets each of leaves and flowers coordinate!

    Note that adorable golden bee embellishment.  They're called Bumblebee trinkets but they are currently unavailable.  They should be back in stock around June 7th.

    Here are the measurements for this pretty card: 

    • Evening Evergreen:  8 ½” X 5 ½” base scored at 1 ¼” and 4 ¼”
    • Fresh Freesia: 1” X 5 ¼”
    • Basic White:  2 pieces – 3” X 4 ¼” for stitched rectangle die-cut and 2 ¾” X 4” for inside
    • Pansy Petals Designer Paper: 1 ½” X 5 ½” plus more for the die-cut pansies
