We made this adorable birthday card at my September card club classes. I wanted to showcase this stamp & punch bundle but I wasn't ready to make a Christmas card yet. I came up with this fun birthday card:

Isn't it fun! It truly is a 'Happy' card perfect for anyone; male, female, kids or adults! I shared the step by step 'how to' in a recent FB Live video seen here.

My favorite part of this card is the fun ribbon & star border. And it's super easy too.

Measurements:

• Pacific Point 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
• White front 3 1/2" X 5", inside 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
• White scraps for the dog, bow & greeting
• Polished Pink & Real Red scraps for stars
• Celebrate Everything host DSP 1/2" X 5"

Supplies include:

Inks – Black, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Real Red & Polished Pink
Card stock – Pacific Point, White, Polished Pink & Real Red. Celebrate Everything host DSP
Other – Witch Hat Builder punch for stars, Scottie dog punch, paper snips, Basic rhinestone jewels, punched stars are done with the Witch Hat punch

Here's the inside view where you can see how she trimmed a portion of her card front away to create the window effect. *She'd normally stamp or add to the inside but she had to rush to get them mailed out in time.

Measurements:
- White card base 11" X 4 1/4" score at 5 1/2". Trim away 1 3/8" from the center
- Navy layers – top is 5 1/4" X 1 3/8", lower is 5 1/4" X 1 1/4"
- White torn edge 5" X 1"
- scraps for tractor & tree die-cuts
Her colors & sponging are amazing as usual. She used Silver foil for her tire rims and clear rhinestones for the starry sky.

Best Tips for successful Shaker Cards with video tutorial!

Who wouldn't like to receive a shaker card?! They're fun, shakable and hard to resist playing with.

I made a bunch of these for our July Team card swap featuring 'window sheets'. I love the fact that I could get multiple, colorful die-cut flowers with the Extraordinary Floral Washi Tape and the coordinating die-cut. Just add it to another piece of cardstock and die-cut. So fast & EASY!

Notice the sponged green designer paper above. That is the Irresistible Designs 12" DSP seen here. I added Olive ink to it with a Blending Brush; the printed embossed designs 'resist' the ink. Pretty cool!

I used the Paper Tags stamp set – stamping the greeting directly onto the window sheet with Black Stazon ink. Then I turned it over to add a bit of Flirty Flamingo blends marker on the 'celebrate' part.
