Wow – Texturing Vellum is a fabulous effect! Check out this pretty Softly Sophisticated card

I couldn't stop playing with the Softly Stippled designer paper and the Softly Sophisticated bundle! This card came together by using a sketch layout I saw online.

There are so many neat details on this card; I'll list a few of them.

Check out the textured vellum! It's done with the Softly Sophisticated folder (sale-a-Bration choice). Our vellum cardstock doesn't crack!
The pretty Softly Stippled designer paper seen here in the background adds even more texture.
The dotted rectangle die-cut is from the Everyday Details dies seen here.
Check out the ribbon treatment. I tied a bow around the Pool Party ribbon (Sale-a-Bration choice) with the Pebbled Path jute twine – separated into one strand.
The stamps are from the Softly Sophisticated bundle seen here – gorgeous greetings and 2-step florals.

I've mentioned it before but I'm finding our new Pebbled Path to be a wonderful neutral color with our soft subtle colors. It's brown but with a slight gray tone to it. Lovely!

Rings of Love Triple Panel card with video & measurements

Here's one more card I made during last week's FB Live with the free Rings of Love designer paper in our Sale-a-Bration offering.

I cut a 3 1/4" X 3" piece of the designer paper and then cut it into three 1" strips. I then layered it onto three strips of Evening Evergreen CS.

I textured the Crumb Cake layer with the Timber embossing folder – it's also a new Free Sale-a-Bration choice in August; with any $50 Stampin' Up! order.

I love how the three panels create a 'scene', making the DSP the star of the card. See the Rings of Love DSP here.

Measurements:
- Poppy Parade 5 ½”X 8 ½”
- White is 5 ¼” X 4”, Crumb Cake 5” X 3 ¾”
- Evergreen is 5 1/8” X 3 7/8”, DSP is 1” X 3 ¼”
- Evergreen strips are 1 1/8” X 3 3/8”

Perched in a Tree Explosion card with video tutorial!

I can't stop using the Aspen dies! I absolutely love this tree die-cut!

I created this card on last week's FB Live video. You can watch it here.

For the card front, I simply added a layer of the Rings of Love DSP behind it for a soft background. You can keep it this simple or create your own background!

However I made the inside of the card extra special with an Explosion fold. These look so difficult to do but honestly they're not! Please watch the video; afterwards you'll want to make one!

The left card has the Rings of Love DSP and the card on the right features the Storybook Gnomes designer paper. For greetings I used the Soft Seedlings & Perched in a Tree stamp sets.

I also shared an easy ribbon trick in the video; if you have trouble with bows I hope you watch.

- Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
- DSP – 3 7/8” X 5 1/8”, inside is 8” square

Stamparatus ‘Step’ technique with Amazing Phrasing set

I played with the Rings of Love DSP on this week's FB Live and this is one of the cards I made. It's so bright & cheery!

I wanted to really show off the fun phrases you can create from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set seen here. I used just a bit of my favorite pattern in the Rings of Love DSP seen here. That was my inspiration for the colors – Mint Macaron, Poppy Parade & Petal Pink.

In the video I show you how easy it is to get the images stamped perfectly in place. It is quite simple yet crazy cool!

I did stamp the 'amazing' one extra time and fussy cut it to pop it up on the card front. I also colored a few rhinestones with Blends markers to add some coordinating sparkle.
