Textures & Frames; who knew you could create such fun & variety?!

At first this stamp set baffled me; what would I do with it?  Well leave it up to the creativity of others to spark my own!  I got some ideas online and all of a sudden I couldn't stop!

I shared all of these cards and tips on making them on this week's Tuesday FB Live.  Look!

The card above is my favorite.  It truly makes me smile!  That sentiment is from the In Your Words stamp set in the back of the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  It's free with a $300 order through Sept 30th.  See it here.

You may wonder how I achieved that perfectly shaped smile on these faces.  I searched all of my stamp sets for a circle shape and found one in the cat in the Cute Halloween set.  Watch the video here or seen below to see how I did it.  The eyes are clear rhinestones colored Black with my Blends marker.  The colors are Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia and Pacific Point.

In the video I also share a neat tip on getting a smaller Postage shape from our Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.

If you love quirky and unique get this while you can.  This fun Textures & Frames stamp set is free with a $50 through the end of September. *stock up on your favorites and earn it free!

This next card uses the same solid circle image to create a colorful background for the nice, large greeting in the Thinking, Thanks & Peace stamp set.  I also used the Basic Border dies to create the eye catching rick-rack border trim.

These colors include Fresh Freesia, Bermuda Bay & Granny Apple Green.

Next I added some vellum dragonflies to a colorful column on this White card using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and the Dragonflies punch.

The greeting is also from the wonderful In Your Words stamp set; I fussy cute it and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I love this one too!  It's cased from my Team Member Tracey.  I had to make one in these colors.

The die-cut swirl is from the Painted Labels dies and again the greeting is from the In Your Words stamp set.

~~~
I was inspired by the card on the lower right (seen by other Demo's) to create one with TALL candles!  I used my Stamparatus for both of these cards!  Watch how in the video below or click here.
These colors include Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point & Crushed Curry. The greeting is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set.
Which is your favorite??
And lastly is a simple card using the open circle image and a few stars die-cut with the Stitched Stars dies and our Rainbow Glimmer paper.
The greeting is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set.  I love how easy you can create a masculine card with this unique stamp set!
Don't miss out if you want this set! It's unavailable after Sept 30th! You'll also get 10 free hand-made cards from me with a $50 order!  Details are below.
  • 3 ways to use the Layered Floral on one card!
    I shared this pretty textured card on last week's FB live video:
    The textured card stock is Fresh Freesia.  I used a Blending Brush with Blackberry Bliss ink to highlight the gorgeous texture. The Layered Floral 3D embossing folder is amazing; it has super deep texture!
    I made a second card during the video with another rich color combination of Night of Navy with Boho Blue. Note the different ways I added vellum to these two cards.
    Also note the pretty texture added to the envelope flap; why don't we do this more often!?
    Here are the 3 ways I featured this pretty Layered Floral 3D embossing folder:
    1. Textured, then added ink with a Blending Brush.
    2. I textured the envelope flap and add a very light ink, again with a Blending Brush.
    3. Cut out a large flower from a separate piece of textured card stock; and I punched a smaller flower using the Petal Park Builder punch – yes it coordinates!!
    Products used here:
    • Layered Floral 3D embossing folder; seen here
    • Deckled Circle dies seen here
    • Vellum card stock
    • Cheerful Daisy dies
    • Heartfelt Hellos stamp set from Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here; free with a $50 order
  • Flight & Airy surprise accordion fold with video & free project sheet
    I shared this beautiful card in last week's Live video. We also made it at my local Card Clubs as well.
    There are so many fabulous projects and features on this pretty card front I'll list them here:
    • The colors are Fresh Freesia with Boho Blue & White.
    • The Fresh Freesia layer is first cut with the Perennial Postage dies before texturing.
    • The beautiful texture is from the Layering Floral 3D embossing folder seen here.  I cannot recommend this folder enough!  I rubbed my Craft White ink pad directly over the deep texture to highlight the flowers. *watch the video
    • The pretty butterfly is from our Paper Butterfly Accents. We added Boho Blue & Fresh Freesia ink to it with Blending Brushes.
    • The greeting stamps are from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set.  It's one of our free choices with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.  See it here.
    • The White greeting label is made by punching the ends of a 1" wide strip of card stock with our Handmade Tag punch.  It's layered onto the Heartfelt Hexagon punch.
    • See the Flight & Airy designer paper here.  It's another free Sale-a-Bration choice with a $50 order through February, or while supplies last.
    • The inside layers were also made with the Perennial Postage dies (like the front layer)
    But the coolest thing about this card is that you get a fun surprise once you open it!
    There's a full strip of Flight or Fancy designer paper inside, folded accordion style in the center. This leaves the outer areas flat for adding greetings etc.  Remember there's a video tutorial to watch here or below.
    You can add more labels, greetings or punches on each of the accordion folds as well if you wish.
    Get the free project sheet with measurements, supplies & step by step directions here: Download Jan 24 Heartfelt Hellos accordion fold
    I hope you like this pretty, fun fold card!  It was a hit with my Club gals.
    Here's the video tutorial for this card and a few more featuring some of these products.  Plus lots of product tips too!
