Sweet Thoughts scrapbook layouts in a kit to go or tutorial

I haven't created any scrapbook pages in over a year!  I played with the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More cards and created these layouts. They came together so easily; I need to do this more often!

This kit to go includes 12 pages – 6 double 12 X 12" layouts featuring Stampin' Up! products.  The Sweet Thoughts Memories & More cards are used for titles, accents & embellishing.

You'll need adhesives, scissors and a paper trimmer (for the M & More cards).

Click here to get your pre-cut scrapbook kit; it's $28 plus shipping.

You can also choose the tutorial instead for $15. See it here.

The tutorial will be emailed to you immediately after payment.  This kit will ship out within days of ordering.  If you add on an April card kit the shipping will be combined and mailed at the end of April.

This kit includes the following

  • 6 double 12 X 12" layouts and all pre-cut layers
  • 1/2 pkg Sweet Thoughts Memories & More card pack
  • A share of Pastel Adhesive-backed rhinestones
  • the PDF tutorial

Check out the Sweet Thoughts card pack here; it's 40% off right now. And the cards & envelopes are also on sale. See them here.  What a powerful and simple way to make fabulous cards or scrapbook pages like these.

I'll share the wonderful cards I made with these Memories & More cards & cards/envelopes on Monday. Or watch the video here now.

  • Bamboo Beauty & the Ink Swipe Technique

I created this striking card for a swap I participated in with some of my Demonstrator leader friends.  I wanted to highlight the beautiful Bamboo Beauty stamp set.

I decided to create a bold background effect by swiping ink pads directly across my Basic White CS.  Each one turned out totally different!

I chose to use these colors from top to bottom – Pale Papaya, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo & Calypso Coral. Depending on how well inked your pads are you can get a variety of hues.  After I swiped the darker colors I used the Pale Papaya over it all to blend and soften the colors together.

My measurements for this card are as follows:

    • So Saffron card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4"
    • White (before swiping) 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Black 3 5/8" X 4 7/8"

I hope you try this technique; it's so fun!  I shared this technique using glossy paper in a video a few years ago.  Here's a link to it.

  • Watercolor Shapes Fun Fold cards – FB Live Replay video

On my weekly FB Live I shared many ideas for the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.  The cards below are just one of the three card versions I shared.  Scroll down to catch the video.  Or click here to see it.

I offer frequent Creative Card Challenges for my Flowerbug's Team and this is the one we're currently working on:

Here's a closer view one card. I love how the solid images stamp with multiple hues of color without any effort!  It may look like my ink pad wasn't inked enough but this is on purpose. These Distinctive stamps are wonderful and provide a lot of dimension effortlessly!

Which do you prefer?  Pale Papaya or Fresh Freesia?

There are so many possibilities with this set; I just scratched the surface! Click here to see it in my store.
