Sweet Easter Baskets; Quick & Easy

Need a quick project for Easter?  Or May Day?  Or to make something fun with a child?  This is it!

I made these on a recent FB Live and it couldn't be easier!

Start out with a square of paper.  I chose to use White card stock for the one above since I wanted to stamp my own background with the Circle Celebration stamp set.  I chose to use Magenta Madness, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue.

I used a 5 1/2" square of White CS for it so I could get two baskets from one sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" paper.  Score it at 1 3/4" on all sides.  Cut up two sides and fold them up to form the basket.  Add a strip of CS for a handle and something fun on the side.  Here I used the Oval Occasions stamp set.

For the butterfly basket on the right I used a 6 X 6" square of Butterfly Bijou designer paper.  Unfortunately this paper is sold out now.  They hoped to have enough through May but we all loved it so much they ran out!  I'm so sorry about that.

The 6" basket is just slightly larger than the 5 1/2" basket; both work wonderfully for holding treats!

You can see the video here.  It's a FB live replay; scroll towards the end to see the basket project.

  • Circle Celebration; so fun!

I have to share this neat card Chanda made for her Card Club swap.  I love seeing their style and what my gals make.

She stamped the images from the Circle Celebration stamp set (seen here) all over her 4" X 5 1/4" White CS.  Then she stamped more and punched and fussy cut them out to add dimension to the card.

I believe her colors are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Real Red.

Such a fun and happy card.  Great job Chanda!

I'll be using this fun stamp set in a Kit to Go in May; the cards are so fun!!

  • 3 Flowering Cactus Fun Fold cards with video!

I created these cards on Facebook Live last week using the Flowering Cactus product medley seen on pages 8-9 of the Spring Catalog.  But I purchased the refill kit instead of the main suite because I wanted mostly the paper, twine and felt accents.

You'll find the video below.  For those of you on Facebook you can see it here.

I share a FB Live video each Tuesday at 11 am CT.  Join me here!

This fold is called a Joy Fold card; a favorite of mine that is basically two half cards folded into one another.

The colors are Mint Macaron, Highland Heather and White.   The greeting is from Happiest of Birthdays.  The inside greeting is from Happy Thoughts set in the Spring catalog.

Next is an accordion style card.  I kind of made this one up; trying to use just half of a sheet of card stock for the fold.

This greeting die-cut is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and that embossing texture is made with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder.  The greeting is from Simply Succulents stamp set in the Spring catalog.

Lastly is a super simple fun fold card that shows off your designer paper well; on the front and the inside of the card. *See measurements in the photo below.

The colors here are Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral and White.  The pretty Coral twine comes in the refill kit.

Here's the video for you; enjoy!

  • Fine Art Panel cards; Easy Layout for Designer Paper!

At first I thought this card layout might be too simple for my Stamp with Me Live video this week. But the cards turned out wonderful and really highlight your designer paper and greeting!  Join me here on Facebook for 6 Live videos each month!

These would be great cards to make a bunch of and you'd use up some of your Designer Paper stash too!

I'll share a few of them for you but be sure to watch the video below for tips and more.

I used the Ridiculously Awesome and Butterfly Gala stamp sets; both are retiring.

The dies are Stitched So Sweetly , Tasteful Labels & Stitched Nested Labels *on sale now!.

The Butterfly Duet punch is retiring and is now just $7.20!  See it here.

Isn't this Fine Art paper lovely?  See it here; it will retire in June. I really like the way the panels create a type of scene with this layout.

    Here’s the video for you.
