Sweet Citrus bundle with a Hybrid embossing folder; you can texture & cut at the same time!

In a recent video I shared multiple projects featuring the Sweet Citrus bundle.  Every card I make with this set is my favorite!  How can that be?

Let's start with colors – they're Balmy Blue with Daffodil Delight and Garden Green.  So fresh and spring-like.  

The designer paper is called Country Gingham seen here. 

The images and greetings are all from the Sweet Citrus stamp set. It comes in a bundle with dies AND a Hybrid embossing folder. See it here

What is a Hybrid embossing folder?  It's one that allows you to cut AND texture at the same time.  You can use it the usual way as well.  But using the die & folder together eliminates a step.  I show how it's done in the video here.

  • Stunning cards in the Thoughtful Journey kit to go; or choose the PDF tutorial

    I couldn't wait to play and create with the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey designer paper.  I think scenic paper like this makes card making a breeze!  I decided to make each card a fancy fold too.

  • Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

    SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

    This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

    The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

    Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.
