The pretty Summer Shadow dies unleashed my creativity!

I sure had fun playing with the Summer Shadow dies this week. I planned to make 3 cards and ended up with 6! I had to make myself stop, which rarely happens. I started out with this amazing card inspired by one made by Beth McCullough.

I die-cut a bunch of flowers & leaves from Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green Coastal Cabana and Magenta Madness and added them to Black CS that I embossed with the Hello & Thank you embossing folders.  The greeting from Shaded Summer is on a die-cut from the Messages die.  See the pink & black gingham ribbon?  It's originally Black & White but I colored it with my Magenta blends marker.

As you can see in these eye catching cards you can do a lot with these dies!

I also made this neat card with a paper piecing technique.  I inserted petals into the outline flower and secured them with tape. The black & White DSP behind the fie-cuts is from the Pattern Party DSP.  It's a huge pack of 48 sheets – a hostess choice with orders over $150 seen here or on page 171 of the annual catalog.

The colors are Coastal Cabana, Magenta Madness, Black, White & Mango Melody.

The Summer Shadow dies are free during Sale-a-Bration (this promo ends Sept 30th).  Now is a great time to stock up on essentials when you earn free products with your orders.  Card stock, inks, In Colors, Blends markers, Designer Paper etc.  Check these dies out here!

I have more Summer Shadow projects to share with you tomorrow! Or check out the FB Live replay video here.

  • Glow of Harvest Standing Easel card with free project sheet & video

Here’s the pretty card I shared on last week’s video; I love this neat fun fold layout!

It really shows off your designer paper and stands up nicely on the extra card stock added.
Here’s another view of this gorgeous specialty paper:

My colors include Golden Glow, Pecan Pie and White. That pretty fall paper is the 12″ Glow of Harvest specialty paper – it’s currently available for just $5 with any order over $75. This shimmery paper was our Product of the Month in September and available while supplies last. See it here.

I fussy cut the leaves and pumpkins from the DSP and added them onto the textured card front. This is the Rustic Check 3D embossing folder seen here.

This die-cut frame is from the Frames and Phrases dies seen here. The striped specialty paper is called Radiant Foils.

I created a free project sheet for this card. Click here to print or download it.

This card has two folded card bases attached to each other which allows for the standing easel and an inside area to write on.

Below is the video tutorial for this card layout. I hope you watch it. I also share all of my newest kits to go & tutorials for October too.

  • Cozy Christmas card kit to go; reserve yours now!

I had fun creating these fantastic Christmas cards with a former Paper Pumpkin kit from last year. I have a limited quantity of these available this month in a kit to go.

There are 12 cards with envelopes in this kit. I was able to change the kit from 9 to 12 cards. There are so many fantastic die-cut elements included in this one.

This kit includes the pre-cut kit, envelopes, adhesives and gems. You will need a few greetings, inks and embossing folders if you choose to make them like I did.

See it here in my store. It’s $31 plus shipping. The PDF tutorial is $17 and is seen here. The tutorial is emailed to you immediately after payment. The pre-cut kit is mailed out at the end of October.

Remember that if you order more than one kit shipping is combines and you’ll save $$.

    See them all here.

  • Two more card kits & tutorial are now available for pre-order!

I chose the Painted Patch designer series paper for one of my October card kits & tutorials (I have 3 this month!). The colors are incredible together and the patterns are fresh & fun. Look at these Fun Fold cards!

This card kit includes 5 sets of cards and you’ll make 2 of each one. This kit is all unique fun fold layouts.

I paired the Painted Patch DSP with the Painted Patch gems and the Calypso Coral & Copper ribbon. You’ll get a share of each of these products along with the 10 pre-cut cards and the PDF tutorial. Everything is pre-cut for you except the package of DSP. You’ll use the directions in the tutorial to cut your new paper. It’s so easy to create these cards when it’s all ready to go.

I create my kits so you do not need a specific stamp set to finish them. All you need are some greeting images and a few inks.

This kit can be seen here. It’s $32 plus shipping (order more than one to save $$). There is also a PDF tutorial available for $17. See that here.

The tutorials are emailed to you immediately after payment. The pre-cut kits are mailed out at the end of October.

I’ll share the third card kit tomorrow; it’s a Christmas card kit! Here’s a sneak peek:

You can see it here on my Shop.
