Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

    I have both a pre-cut card kit with SU products or a PDF tutorial option available. 

    This card kit includes the following items:

    • the pre-cut card kit including punched and die-cut elements
    • 1/2 pkg Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (6" X 12")
    • a share of the Regal Foiled dots
    • a share of Paper Butterflies
    • the PDF tutorial with photos, measurements, a supply list and step by step directions.

  • Great sketch to create fast cards with Woven Textures

    On last week's video I shared two more projects made with the Textured Notes bundle which is included in the entire Botanical Textures suite seen here.

    This lovely card features Pecan Pie with Early Espresso. I stamped directly onto the designer paper – a soft linen sheet included in the Woven Textures DSP seen here.

    I die-cut the three rectangles with the new Textured Notes dies which is included in the Textured Notes bundle seen here.  I cannot stop using this bundle!!

    This layout was inspired by this sketch.

    I love using sketches for my inspiration!  Think of them as a starting point.  Noticed I added a greeting layer & linen thread.

    Did you catch the texture on the diagonal Early Espresso strip?  That's the new Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder seen here.  I tell you this suite is incredible!  I love every single thing in it!

    Below is the inside view.  Like I said yesterday these leaf stamps are wonderful to play with. Easy, beautiful cards.
