Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

  • Back from Disney World – the 2024 Stampin’ Up! incentive trip

    We had a wonderful time on the Stampin' Up! annual incentive trip to Disney World.  We got home late last night and even though we hoped to have a restful trip we were quite exhausted. These North Dakotans were not ready for 96 degree heat!  

    I'll share a few of our favorite photos today and more of Stampin' Up! products tomorrow. 

    This is what we saw on the TV screen when we arrived to our room:

    Below is the view from our room in the Grand Floridian Resort at Disney World:

    This basket was found in our room at the end of the first night there.  A super neat felt basket (that folded flat) filled with some of our favorite snacks & beverages (a survey was sent to us last fall).

    The beautiful nightly fireworks we could see from our resort. We spent many evenings at the outdoor cafe visiting with our friends and enjoying them.

  • Fantastic Team swaps with Botanical Textures suite

    Today I have three fantastic swaps made by my Flowerbug's Team; all featuring the Botanical Textures suite from our online store.  Did you know we have a huge selection of items that are not seen in any printed catalog?  They're called Online Exclusives and you can see them all here.  

    This first card was made by Kim for her Card Club swap.  I had to share it with you because I thought it was so neat.  She used Black, White and Lemon Lime Twist. 

    Botanical Textures Kim P Save

    Her stamped images are from the Textured Notes stamp set.  The cute hexagon gems are new and seen in our 2025-26 Annual Catalog.  

    Next is a fabulous fancy fold card made by Rita. She also used this same Botanical Textures DSP along with Petunia Pop card stock.

    She used the Bright Borders stamp set and the To the Point punch. This punch has been out of stock for months!  I hope it comes back soon.  It is expected around June 2nd. 

    Here's the view when it's open:

    The card base is 11" X 5 1/2".  It's scored at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7".  Then it's trimmed horizontally at 1" from the upper and lower edges but only from the 1 3/4" and 5 1/4" score lines. 

    The DSP is 6 3/4" X 5 1/4".  

    It looks like she adhered the DSP and then cut the slits open with a paper trimmer.  So cool!  No difficulty measuring your layers  when you do it this way.

    Lastly today is Ginny's card made with the Woven Textures DSP and the Textured Notes bundle.  I love these products; one of my favorites from the online store!

    Her colors include Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.  She used five different dies from the Textured Notes dies!  I especially like the frame in the center, highlighting that pretty DSP.

  • Adorable Turtle-y Cute fun fold card

    Last weekend we held our monthly Team swap and Lori made this super cute card.

    It's a vertical book binding card fold.  I love how this fold allows you to show off so much fun products like the DSP and the embossing folder. Her turtle & balloon are fussy cut from the Turtle-y Cute DSP.
