Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

    Saturday I held my new catalog launch party and I thought you'd like to see my displays too.  Unfortunately I did not receive many of my card swaps in time, but I had some and I had made quite a few samples myself. I worried my boards would be empty but I think they turned out quite well.  

    This first photo shows off two displays; from left to right – the Circle Sayings bundle, the Countryside Inn Suite, the Bright & Beautiful suite and the Little Monkey bundle.

    this was a clear favorite of many.  I'll be featuring this beautiful Countryside Inn DSP for one of my May kits to go.  Many people asked about the cute baskets; I'll feature them on an upcoming video.

    And here's the incredible Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6" designer paper.  Amazing color combos and patterns!  This is another contender for my May card kits….

    I use inexpensive foam boards from the dollar store and attach my projects with either poster putty or clips.

  • Timeless Arrangements with Countryside Inn DSP; all new!

    I've been super busy prepping for my new catalog launch party tomorrow.  If you're in or near Minot, ND please stop in at 1st Lutheran Church from 10-12:30 pm. There's lots to see!!

    I always join a few online swaps so I can get great samples for my display boards. I made this pretty card for one of them.

    Timeless Arrangements 2 square Save

    I chose the Timeless Arrangements bundle and added squares of Countryside Inn designer series paper.  I've used this layout before and thought it would work well with the dies in the Timeless Arrangements bundle.  

    Ad you can see on the dies shown below there are 4 different dies that they've added a long piece to; it's perfect to add to the stitched greeting dies for layering.  And they're spaced differently so they layer perfectly with each other!

    My colors are Balmy Blue, Night of Navy with a splash of Lemon Lime Twist. I'm so glad this happy color is back in our color line!
