Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.

  • A Pretty Diamond Fold card with free project sheet & video tutorial

    This card fold looks a bit tricky but it is super easy to make!

    Mediterranean blooms diamond Save

    It features the beautiful Mediterranean Blooms designer paper. My colors include Lemon Lolly, Night of Navy & White.

    This card starts out at 11" X 4 1/4"; score at 5 1/2" & 8 7/8". 

    How did I get that square to pop up on the end?  Watch the video to see!  But basically you trim off the outer corners from the scored and folded end.

    I fussy cut the lemon bunch from the designer paper. The Citrus Blooms bundle coordinates with this pretty DSP but I didn't use them here.  The greetings are from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set.

  • Potions & Spells swap cards for Halloween inspiration

    Today I'm sharing two fun cards made by my Flowerbug's team. They both feature the new Potions & Spells bundle seen here in the online store. 

    Robin made this first one; she's a master at sponging.

    Don't you love her sponged background? She placed a post-it circle onto her White CS before sponging, creating the moon, which is a great place to add the sentiment. It shows off the die-cut cauldron wonderfully.

    Next is a card made by Paula who also used this neat bundle.

    Her colors include Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Black and Gold. 

    Notice the neat texture of the cauldron. She inked the embossing folder before texturing it.

  • Who wants a Designer Paper Share from the Holiday Catalog?!

    I'm offering a designer paper share from the upcoming Holiday Catalog again!  These shares are super popular with so many of you; I glad to help you get a sample of these pretty papers. 

    2024 Holiday catalog dsp share. Save

    It includes a 6 X 6" sheet of each 10 packs of new paper – that's 68 sheets including specialty papers.  A double share would include 6" X 12" pieces (except those that come in 6" size) it would be $53 plus $8 shipping.  

    I can take names and add you to the list.  However I cannot accept payment until August 27th due to Stampin' Up!'s rules. 

    The earlier you opt in the better your chance is to get these soon.  They can run out of stock on some and then I have to wait until they're available.  I plan to place my order on September 3rd.
