Simple Lily of the Valley card; it’s a WOW! Grab the free project sheet or watch the video

I shared this beautiful Lily of the Valley card on last week’s Live video. It’s one of those cards that looks simple and easy but involves a bit of effort.

I used the Lily of the Valley dies along with the Everyday Arches dies on the vellum and the Floral Spray 3D embossing folder (it’s back in stock) for the background. White & Granny Apple Green are my colors here.

Since I did-cut the flowers from White CS I used a Granny Apple Green blends marker to color the stems on the flowers. I also curled the die-cut leaves a bit and cut one apart for the thicker stems in the center area. Watch the video to see how.

Did you notice there isn’t a greeting on the front? It’s okay to leave them off now and then. This way my card can be used for any purpose.

I didn’t even stamp one on the inside. Just a simple leaf/flower image. Click here to see the Lily of the Valley in my store. It’s wonderful.

I created a free project sheet for this card as well as my video below. Click here for the project sheet you can download or print.

  • Easel card fold with Modern Christmas with a free project sheet! Mystery boxes are still available!

On last week’s video I shared two fun fold cards featuring the Modern Christmas suite. I shared one yesterday and today I’m sharing the Easel fun fold card. I haven’t made one of these for awhile and forgot how quickly they come together.

Black, White & Gold are so classy. I did use one bundle and two sets of dies to create this card.

I used the Traditional Labels bundle seen here for the greeting heat embossed in gold. And the Peace on Earth dies for the center die-cut. Plus the Peaceful Greenery coordinating embossing folder seen here. And lastly the Scenic Adventure dies here for the trees die-cut. Whew!

There’s just something about a mostly white card that makes it elegant.
I did create a free project sheet for this card. Click here to print or download it.

Below is the video for this card and another fabulous Z-fold card. I hope you watch it and if you’re not already subscribed to my YouTube channel please do!

  • Modern Christmas Triple-Z card with video & free project sheet

First; I’ll let you know I still have several Mystery Boxes left. Don’t miss the opportunity to get over $200 in free products! See the details here.

I shared this super neat card on last week’s video. I love this fold! It looks like work but it’s so easy!

Isn’t it fabulous?! I found several others online and had to try it. I chose to feature the Modern Christmas suite seen here.

The scored lines to create this fold are simply 1″ & 3″ for both the card base and the 3 strips. Watch the video below to see how it’s put together.

The main image of trees is stamped on the die-cut from Branching Out. See these dies here; they coordinate with the stamp set but stand alone too. The greeting is from the Traditional Labels bundle seen here. I cut a second die-cut in Gold and split it apart across the middle so it shows.

Here’s how I stamped the back side:

The trees & greetings are from the Ornamental Christmas bundle seen here. I love the playful style of the stamp set.

The card bekiw is the card I made during the video. I changed it up a bit.

The beautiful gold & black paper (and the above trees DSP) is from the Modern Christmas DSP seen here. It’s so elegant and fits with the star die-cut from the Modern Christmas bundle quite well. The circle die-cut is from the Spotlight on Nature dies seen here.

I created a free project sheet for these cards. Click here to print or download it. I do recommend you create a file for project sheets or card ideas. It’s so handy to access it quickly.

Below is the video tutorial for this card and another as well. Both feature this beautiful Modern Christmas suite. I’ll share the other card tomorrow.

  • Two more of my favorite kits. There are still Mystery Boxes left!

My mystery boxes are selling well; be sure to grab yours while there are some left. *see below

I wanted to share two more of my favorite kits from our Kit Collection seen here.

First is a thank you kit called Thank You Kindly’. It’s an elegant set of cards that are both special & easy to make.

They’re mostly white with gold foil accents & that stunning black pre-printed greeting. This is a non-stamping kit. It’s currently in low inventory so it will likely sell out soon. It’s just $14 and can be seen here.

Next is the gorgeous Harvest Home Garland that can also be made into a wreath. It would be great for your Thanksgiving table or used as a wreath.

It took me about 1 1/2 hours to make mine. I even added some sponging/blending to the paper leaves (which wasn’t in the directions. It have everything you need except hot glue – recommended to attach the leaves to the rope. It’s so pretty and I love the non-traditional colors that still have an autumn look. See it in the store here.
