Quick Notecard idea with the Banner Sayings bundle

I needed to send a few special cards to my Team members this weekend and so I created these cute notecards:

The large piece of designer paper is 4″ X 3″ and the bottom strip is 4″ X 1″. I added a 1/4″ strip of textured Coastal Cabana between them (I found it in my scraps).

I chose to make notecards because the package I was sending their prizes in was narrow and these fit perfectly.

I chose the Hobby Haven designer paper because of it’s colors and ‘hobby’ themed prints. See it here. It’s part of our Online product selection.

Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page.

The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP. I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.

Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it. I love the images and the font in the greetings.

I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it. I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill. So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper. It worked beautifully! I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well. Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.

I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.
