Quick & Easy Easel Calendar cards with video!

Look at this pretty Easel Calendar card made with brand new products!

I used product from both new Stampin' Up! 2021 catalogs.  The designer paper is called Paper Blooms and it's free with a $50 order during our Sale-a-Bration promotion. Click here to see it.

The dragonfly & greeting are from the Dragonfly Garden bundle.  It's in the 2021 Spring catalog and you can see it here.

These easel cards are so simple to make!  The scored, square piece is adhered to the inside bottom of the main card.

Measurements:

  • card base 4 1/4" X 11"
  • easel 4" square.  Score at 1/2", 2" and 3 3/4"

These are made with designer papers from the Annual Catalog.  The left one above features the Artistic Blooms; the right is the Ornate Garden.  The greeting is from the Friend Like You stamp set.

The pretty one below is made with the Forever Greenery designer paper. Who wouldn't want one of these at their desk?

  • How to create a beautiful scene with the Peaceful Pier set; a free project sheet & video tutorial

    I shared a video tutorial on how to create this gorgeous scene last week.

    I used the Peaceful Pier stamp set, inks and blending brushes.  

    PEACEFUL PIER CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH) Save

    I first stamped the dock and tree images using Black Memento ink. Then added a few more 'grass' images at the bottom. Next you add ink with Blending Brushes.  I used Lost Lagoon for the water, Granny Apple Green for the grass, Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight for the sky. 

    I did color the dock and trees with Blends markers. I did not need to mask anything. As long as you're adding ink lightly with the Blending Brushes you shouldn't need to.

    After I was finished adding color I used the Textured Notes dies to cut my image into 2 pieces. Ad added the frame to a Black CS layer and added the center with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I love the dimension this gives to the card scene.

    Paper Pumpkin kits keep getting better & better!  

    Here's one of my bonus projects from May's kit; Mountain Majesties. As usual the cards suggested in the kit are beautiful but I love making something new with the many elements in the kit.
